Lisa Cardella, Owner and Creative Director, thrives on open communication, brainstorming, and developing personalized weddings unique to each couple. Working hand in hand with the couple and other vendors, Ixora is able to interpret the vision, offer various options at realistic budgets and develop an overall design of your wedding that pulls all the intricate details and components together.

We love that every weekend of weddings allows us to create unique designs and floral interpretations completely dependent on the couple's vision. We are up to the challenge to create something special representing the couple ... a couple who will be completely different from the couple that we create for next. This allows us the opportunity to delve into all the various types of floral design and stylizing. From boho chic in a historic building, to a vineyard farm to table look, to a classic church and ballroom wedding, we get the vision and can make it come to life. Our forte is listening to each client & interpret their needs.

Intimate Gathering

Description

Focusing on family and friends and keeping your wedding intimate doesn't mean you have to forgo amazing and personalized florals. Classic white and cream florals with greenery accents ensure a timeless, elegant floral design to compliment any venue. A traditional floral selection, including roses, hydrangea and lisianthus is accented with interesting seasonal blooms and foliage (you can specify dark greens, sage/eucalyptus greens). Ratio of flowers to greenery is 60/40.

    The most essential part of our wedding team!

    Lisa is one of the most hard working in the business and was our essential creative visionary for our wedding in July 2025 at the Athenaeum in Pasadena. She was patient and flexible while maximizing our wedding florals in ways we didn’t know possible and met with us several times to give her honest input while bringing to life our sophisticated and elegant flower schemes. She made executive decisions on the wedding day when our flowers were in the sun and we couldn’t have been happier. Above all, she is so kind and a joy to work with. Follow her on IG - she can truly do anything and books up quickly! We can’t wait to work with her again for future events!

    Perfectly curated floral design

    Lisa created such beautiful and unique florals for our wedding! We wanted a really colorful and fun color scheme, but didn't have much else in mind when we first talked with her. She immediately recommended some really fun textures to go with the bright colors, and the final product was perfect! I was blown away as soon as I saw my bridal bouquet, and I got so many compliments on Lisa's work. I also thought Ixora is really competitively priced. I'd completely recommend them to anyone for weddings or other events.

We do not have a minimum for local weddings, although we do have a $3,500 minimum for venues outside of a 60 mile radius.
We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services within a 200 mile radius of Los Angeles. We have a $3,500 minimum for floral delivery within 60 miles; $5,500 minimum for over 60 miles.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes! After the contract is signed, we provide one mockup (complimentary with budgets over $5,000), typically a table centerpiece. We prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal and vendor commitments are due.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
Yes! We offer a variety of rentals to enhance your event. We own many varieties of candles holders, candelabras, large vessels, vases, arches, canopies, chuppahs, aisle runners, drapery, mirrors, welcome signs, and chandeliers, for an additional cost. We frequently work with rental houses to complete the look with furniture rentals, additional lighting and tenting.
Sorry, we do not offer flower preservation. However, we’re happy to recommend a few local vendors who provide this service. Just let us know.
