Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.

The Muckenthaler Mansion

5.0

Fullerton, CA
  • Up to 1500 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $23,000

Built in 1924, the stunning Italian Renaissance-style structure stands on nine landscaped acres overlooking a quiet residential neighborhood. In 1965, the estate was donated to the City of Fullerton for use as a cultural center for touring art exhibits. The sprawling venue is full of history and charm. Today, the site’s buildings – including elegant Spanish Colonial-style architecture– are used for educational and cultural events run by The Muckenthaler Cultural Center’s non-profit. In addition to its extraordinary setting, the two-story mansion offers exclusive catering and full bar services. In 1999, the Muckenthaler received designation by the National Register of Historic Places, that not only produces performances, gallery exhibits, festivals and special events. The Muckenthaler Cultural Center commits to the mission of providing the community with experiences that stimulate creativity and imagination while conserving the heritage of the Muckenthaler Estate.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a fun and festive vibe
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Full catering menu to choose from

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not wheelchair accessible
From our venue tour to our tasting to our wedding day, Angie and the team at Colette’s and Muckenthaler Mansion were a dream to work with. They were communicative, clear, timely, and so helpful. It’s so convenient to have everything go through them, like tables, chairs, bar, staff, catering, linens, additional rentals, and cake. We were also able to bring in outside vendors like a photobooth and boba bar. We also used one of the rooms in the mansion to have a kids table with activities. This venue and catering were one of the most reasonably priced options, as well. We really felt like they were our cheerleaders doing everything they could to make our day smooth and memorable. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the setting was. It’s great to be able to use any space on the property that you want, so we had each part of the night in a different space, which really made it feel cozy and homey like we were hosting a backyard garden reception and a party inside the mansion/gallery. We also felt great that the venue fee was a donation to the nonprofit cultural center. The food is delicious and the drinks were strong. The staff lead Anthony was at our beck and call all night, and thought of the tiniest details to enhance our experience. The bartender and servers were great too. I think everybody should get married here! The setting makes the day feel truly special and unique. And made a beautiful backdrop for photos. I can’t thank them enough!!

Mary-Anne was very helpful the whole way through. They did a vendor expo that made the decision-making process extremely easier. It was great that we did not have to go to another venue. Everything can take place there: ceremony & reception! Plenty of room for up to 200 guests. Beautiful scenery, very photogenic! No complaints on the food or appetizers. We took advantage of the full venue. We loved everything: it was perfect!

We recently had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at The Westin Anaheim Resort, and both events exceeded our expectations! The rehearsal dinner took place on the Jewel Floor, a private rooftop space with an amazing view of Disneyland. The food was absolutely spectacular and set the perfect tone for our wedding weekend. The wedding venue itself is exceptional in every way. It's a brand new, luxurious, and spacious space that felt like a dream come true. Every single staff member, from the bartenders to the servers, security, front desk, and valet, was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. We opted for passed hors d'oeuvres, a plated dinner, and late-night bites, and everything was delicious. The service was prompt, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The bar package offered great options, and the bartenders were quick and made delicious drinks. One of the highlights of our experience was working with Shannon, the banquet manager. She made the entire wedding planning process easy and smooth, taking a lot of stress off our plates. Her expertise and enjoyable personality were invaluable, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. The accommodations at The Westin were also incredibly comfortable. We and our guests felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, The Westin Anaheim Resort is truly the perfect choice for a dream wedding. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional venue and experience!!

The Anaheim Hotel was an amazing venue for our wedding weekend! We held our entire wedding weekend (Welcome Dinner, Ceremony and Reception) at the Anaheim Hotel and are so glad we chose to work with them. The poolside Cabana added a touch of elegance and allowed our guests to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere. Our guests enjoyed watching the Disneyland fireworks poolside as the night wound down. The Veranda Lawn is a beautiful space for a ceremony and the ballroom is a fun space for a reception - spacious enough for our large guest list, yet intimate enough for heartfelt moments. Jamie from the hotel was great to work with planning our weekend. She is detailed, accommodating and has an upbeat attitude. She listened to our preferences and made our dreams come true. A short example of her attention to detail and care: our wedding day was hotter than forecasted and on the day of, she asked if we would want to set up umbrellas for our guests to keep them comfortable. She had them set up on short notice, making sure they were placed them exactly as we had asked. That attentive and professional attitude extended to the staff, they anticipating our needs before we even asked. The hotel's ability to host both the ceremony and reception made planning so much easier. The food was quite good, nearly every guest completely finished their plate. The bar team is stellar, everybody enjoyed their drinks. If you are looking for a beautiful space that will seamlessly host your wedding, look no further. Bonus: Having guest rooms on-site made the entire weekend convenient for our out-of-town family and friends.
