About this venue

The Anaheim Hotel is a mid-century modern landmark in the heart of the Anaheim Resort District, directly across from the Disneyland® Resort. Set on nine landscaped acres, it is home to one of the largest outdoor wedding venues in the resort area: the Veranda, a palm-framed garden lawn for ceremonies of up to 800 guests and receptions under the stars. Indoors, the Riviera Room is our newly renovated ballroom of about 4,500 square feet, with a wall of windows and a patio overlooking the pool. It seats up to 300 and divides into Riviera North and Riviera South for smaller receptions and rehearsal dinners. The Pool Patio, Fountain Garden and Recreation Area add room for cocktail hours, welcome parties and intimate ceremonies. With in-house catering, custom menus and guest rooms on site, The Anaheim Hotel keeps your whole wedding weekend in one iconic Southern California setting.

The Riviera Room

Our renovated ballroom, with a wall of windows and a patio over the pool.

Our main ballroom sits just off the lobby: about 4,500 square feet with a wall of windows framed in gold curtains and an outdoor patio overlooking the pool, perfect for cocktails after the ceremony. It seats up to 300 banquet style and divides into Riviera North and Riviera South for smaller receptions and rehearsal dinners. Venue fee for 2027: $1,500 Monday–Thursday, $2,000 Friday and Sunday, $3,000 Saturday.

An open-air setting beside our Olympic-sized pool, made for cocktail hours, welcome parties and relaxed receptions. Guests can catch the Disneyland fireworks from the pool deck. Venue fee for 2027: $500 for the patio. To reserve the whole pool area, the fee matches the Veranda: $2,000 Monday–Thursday, $2,500 Friday and Sunday, $3,500 Saturday.

An open-air space about 146 feet long and 31 feet wide for cocktail hours, welcome parties and outdoor receptions. It holds up to 100 guests open-air, or up to 200 for a standing reception under a tent arranged through the hotel (tent billed separately). Venue fee for 2027: $1,000 Monday–Thursday, $1,250 Friday and Sunday, $2,000 Saturday.

The Veranda & Fountain Garden

One of the largest outdoor wedding venues in the Anaheim Resort area.

A sweeping garden lawn of about 7,000 square feet at the front of the property, framed by palm trees, with views of the grounds and of Disneyland. It includes the adjoining Fountain Garden for your cocktail reception, about 9,000 square feet in all. It hosts ceremonies for up to 800 guests and receptions for up to 600. Venue fee for 2027: $2,000 Monday–Thursday, $2,500 Friday and Sunday, $3,500 Saturday.

The Ceremony (add-on)

Description

$2,000 for 2027 ($2,075 for 2028), added to any wedding package when your ceremony is with us. Chiavari chairs in white, gold, silver or wood are $10 each (50-chair minimum). Ceremony and reception bookings of 150 guests or more include one complimentary overnight stay for the couple.

Enchanting Mid-Century Hotel Made Wedding Magic
The Anaheim Hotel was an amazing venue for our wedding weekend! We held our entire wedding weekend (Welcome Dinner, Ceremony and Reception) at the Anaheim Hotel and are so glad we chose to work with them. The poolside Cabana added a touch of elegance and allowed our guests to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere. Our guests enjoyed watching the Disneyland fireworks poolside as the night wound down. The Veranda Lawn is a beautiful space for a ceremony and the ballroom is a fun space for a reception - spacious enough for our large guest list, yet intimate enough for heartfelt moments. Jamie from the hotel was great to work with planning our weekend. She is detailed, accommodating and has an upbeat attitude. She listened to our preferences and made our dreams come true. A short example of her attention to detail and care: our wedding day was hotter than forecasted and on the day of, she asked if we would want to set up umbrellas for our guests to keep them comfortable. She had them set up on short notice, making sure they were placed them exactly as we had asked. That attentive and professional attitude extended to the staff, they anticipating our needs before we even asked. The hotel's ability to host both the ceremony and reception made planning so much easier. The food was quite good, nearly every guest completely finished their plate. The bar team is stellar, everybody enjoyed their drinks. If you are looking for a beautiful space that will seamlessly host your wedding, look no further. Bonus: Having guest rooms on-site made the entire weekend convenient for our out-of-town family and friends.

June through October is our peak wedding season, and peak-season Saturdays carry a $7,500 food and beverage minimum. Every Saturday, year-round, carries a $12 per guest premium (2027) and our highest venue fees of the week.

November through May. Monday through Thursday dates have our lowest venue fees all year, and Friday and Sunday dates fall in between.

Outside spirits and beer aren't permitted. You're welcome to bring wine, champagne or cider for a $35 corkage fee per bottle (2027), and our certified bartenders serve all beverages. We offer a full-service bar and can special-order a liquor you prefer.

Yes, on-site self-parking is available for your guests (typically $15 per car). Valet is not a standard hotel service, but it can be added to your event as an optional upgrade at $15 per car.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances and trained staff.

A complimentary tasting for two is included once your contract is signed and your deposit is received. We'll email you a link to book it: Tuesday through Thursday between 2 and 5 PM, at least a week ahead, excluding holidays. You'll sample your menu, including hors d'oeuvres and dessert, and our bartender will mix two custom cocktails or mocktails for your event. It's also the best time to add upgrades like an extra protein or a bar package upgrade. Each additional guest is $55 (2027).

No. Outside food isn't allowed at The Anaheim Hotel. Our in-house team offers full-service catering and custom menus with our Food & Beverage Director, and every wedding package includes a menu tasting for two. All food and beverage must be contracted and enjoyed on site during your event.

For 2027 weddings it starts at $4,450 (50 guests on our Golden Sunset package), and peak-season Saturdays (June through October) carry a $7,500 minimum. It rises with your package and guest count; your Catering Manager confirms it in your proposal. A venue fee also applies and includes set-up, breakdown, 5 hours of reception space and an on-site banquet captain. A 23% service charge and 7.75% sales tax apply.

Licensed security is required for every event serving alcohol and is arranged through the hotel: 1 guard per 100 guests, or 1 per 75 for quinceañeras and events with guests under 21. Each guard is $425 for a 5-hour minimum, plus $85 for each additional hour (2027).

A coordinator isn't required, but we recommend one for every wedding, especially if your ceremony is held at the hotel. Your Catering Manager works with you on the menu, timeline and set-up, and a day-of coordinator keeps your ceremony and reception running smoothly.

A $1,000 deposit with your signed contract holds your date. All payments go directly to The Anaheim Hotel, and the balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding.

Each space has its own venue fee, which covers set-up, breakdown, 5 hours of reception space and an on-site banquet captain. 2027 fees (Monday–Thursday / Friday and Sunday / Saturday): The Veranda & Fountain Garden $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,500; The Riviera Room $1,500 / $2,000 / $3,000; Riviera North or South $750 / $1,000 / $1,750; Recreation Area $1,000 / $1,250 / $2,000; Pool Patio $500, or the Veranda fee to reserve the whole pool area. 2028 fees are slightly higher.
