About this venue

Rasta Rita Cantina and Venue is located in the charming and historic town of the high desert Twentynine Palms, California, dubbed "The Gateway to Joshua Tree." We are located less than a mile from town, seemingly worlds away. Our venue includes a restored military supply building that is now our charming bar and seating area for indoor activities, two expansive outdoor patios with a photogenic mission bell tower wall, and ample parking. Rasta Rita Cantina and Venue is family-owned. Along with our sister companies, Rasta Taco and Rasta Rita Margarita, we have been in the food and beverage industry since 2006. Our knowledgeable staff takes pride in supporting you throughout your planning process. ABC Licensed and City Entitled Venue.

    Amazing Venue 5 Stars

    This is one, absolutely, wonderful place. My wife and I had our wedding here...Let me tell ya. It was magical. The owners are exceedingly nice and helpful. Setup day of...there was plenty of time and the onsite staff was beyond helpful, I mean above and beyond. The bartenders were stellar, we had such a blast at the bar. They were so absolutely lovely and jovial. The venue is so gorgeous. I mean it really is the perfect desert oasis. It is well lit and well setup up. It's cozy and warm and just simply wonderful. We elected for the tacos and they were freakin awesome. They also did my favorite with grilled onions and peppers. I loved getting married there. We had a native/western ceremony and it was the perfect fit. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place. I highly recommend!!!!!!

Yes, we have parking onsite for up to 22+ cars. We also have street parking and rental lots available.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances.
You choose -- most package start with 10 or 12 hour rental, with a 5 or 6 hour event time.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. We're making flexible date changes with covid 2021 and 2022.
Yes, we require event insurance for events -- let us help you - or visit wedsafe or eventhelper for your protection.
We are less then 10 from the Joshua Tree Oasis Visitor Center and 17 mins from the Joshua Tree Visitors Center. There are hundreds of Joshua Tree, 29 Palms and Wonder Valley airbnbs within 15 mins of the Cantina.
Yes - we have been able to host small ceremonies of 50 on our outdoor event space and flipped to dinner service. We're excited for our lower campus buildout which will allow full dining or ceremony space with the upper cantina.
Pricing is based on final guest count and event date/day. General pricing is $3000 to $5000 event fee up to 100 guests. Food + Bar Packages are available and may provide bundled discounts.
