My name is Branson and I am the Best Of State Winner in Utah. I have traveled to over 80 countries photographing and filming weddings in all corners of the globe. I also teach photography and videography to other creatives and am known for my timeless, romantic, and candid style.

I have proudly won Utah's Best Of State award. I specialize in the photojournalistic, candid approach to the wedding day. I have been featured on over 50 wedding magazines including People Magazine, ABC4 News, and BRIDES, showcasing my work and quality of product.

Branson Maxwell Photo & Video made our wedding day so much easier just by being there. From the start, he was straightforward about what he could deliver and understood exactly what we wanted in our photos. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to think twice about the pictures—he handled everything while we focused on celebrating. Wedding video and photo
We booked Branson and McKay for our wedding photography and video. They were both such great professionals, very confident without being over bearing, directed people without shouting or taking over the whole day. I found Branson through google and his reviews and reputation is why I chose him. It is well worth the money, I had every confidence that he was making my wedding look amazing while I was enjoying my day. I gave him a quick overview of what I was picturing and I feel like he got the vision and delivered. Super nice guest too, isn’t in everyone’s face with the camera, this guy knows what he is doing! Thank you so much!

Everything and more!!
Just want to say, I now understand why Branson is Utah’s best of state photographer! He was on our venue recommendation list and I am so glad we went with him! You can tell he takes pride in his work and is very passionate about what he does. Initially I thought he was super “bossy” but looking back at everything, he definitely has to be that way because there is so much going on in a wedding that he needs people to pay attention in order to get all the pictures you paid for. AND all the pictures you want as well. I havent gotten my pictures back yet but I just know they will be amazing!! He was super kind and sweet the whole time. My husband doesnt really care for getting his pictures taken but Branson made us feel so comfortable that it didnt feel dragging! Everything went amazing. Not a single negative thing to say!!

Amazing Videographer!
We had such a great experience with our videographer on our wedding day! He was professional, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. He worked so well with our photographer and captured every moment! He was organized, easy to communicate with, and brought such a fun presence to our day. We can't wait to see the final video!
