We are a small studio dedicated to reliably capturing those moments that matter most. We're big believers that everyone deserves capture they'd enjoy for a lifetime. So whether photo, video, or both we always give the kind of capture only a team can give.

We have shot destination weddings, backyard weddings, elopements and everything in between. Because we’re a studio we can hold the quality bar high, afford top shelf tools, do everything from editing to printing in house while keeping the price fair for you. The best gift we can offer you is your love bottled up in photo and video.

Scarlet Oak, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways! Working with Scarlet Oak for our wedding videography was an absolute dream come true from start to finish, resulting in a mind blowing wedding video that has made everyone who's watched it cry. Everyone at the company has great communication, is genuine and down to earth, and made us feel like our wedding was important. From the moment we chatted with Aaron, we had an instant connection and knew they were a special team and that we wanted to work with them. We had many questions and Catherine was quick to answer them all via text, which we greatly appreciated! We decided on the standard video package with a team of 3 at our wedding and added on drone footage (highly recommend if you have an outdoor ceremony! Particularly in the mountains). Once we booked Scarlet Oak, Julie kept in touch throughout the process to make sure they knew what our vision was and to check-in with us, which made us feel very taken care of during the stressful wedding planning process. Aaron, Kerstin, and Darcie were so fabulous to work with on our wedding day! They had the warmest, most welcoming energy that was exactly what we were hoping for on our wedding day. I cannot express this enough. They made our wedding party and families feel comfortable while being on camera, made me (the bride) feel like a stunning goddess, and brought such positivity to the day that it honestly felt like it would have been lacking without their presence there! Aaron is top notch with a heart of gold, and we could not have been happier with our communication with him throughout this journey! When we received our highlight video and our additional footage, we were absolutely blown away. The quality, the storytelling, and the expert editing were all above our wildest expectations. We were moved to tears MANY times while watching and honestly felt like we were in our very own Hallmark movie, in the best way. They captured every part of the day perfectly. Shoutout to Radhia, office manager extraordinaire, who made us feel like we were still special even after our wedding was over! The Scarlet Oak team is beyond perfect and we are so grateful to have worked with them. By far the best part of our wedding is having these videos to cherish forever. BOOK SCARLET OAK IMMEDIATELY! Scarlet Oak Studio made all of our dreams come true with our wedding photos and videos. I couldn't imagine anyone else shooting this occasion for us. The team was so reassuring while shooting, helped with timeline throughout the entire day, and were just the absolute best! Being in a Catholic Church for our ceremony, I was worried about our crew knowing how to manage and be respectful, but they exceeded those expectations. They knew exactly what they were doing, and were extremely respectful during and after the ceremony! We can't wait to work with them more in the future! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We went with scarlet oak because it was recommended by our wedding planner and we are so thrilled we did! We had an initial consult call before booking them and knew that we were aligned. They were so attentive and thoughtful with us leading up to the events. They brought such amazing energy to our welcome party and wedding - our guests are still commenting on how much they were hyping everyone up! We wanted our photos to reflect the celebration, joy, and excitement of the day, and this is exactly what we got! Not to mention the videos!! We have watched our highlight video every day since we got it - it perfectly captures the emotions and love and our favorite moments from the day!
