About this venue
Once a 1980s smog-check center, SmogShoppe is now a 100% solar-powered, private 6,500 square foot indoor/outdoor haven for desert plants, vertical gardens and chic vintage furnishings. The combined interior and exterior areas allow for quintessential California entertaining, making an ideal vintage wedding venue. The generous floor plan can accommodate up to 150-person garden ceremonies, 150-person formal sit down dinners, and 250-person cocktail parties. SmogShoppe is conveniently located in the heart of the Culver City art/design district, immediately off the 10 freeway, just minutes to Santa Monica, LAX, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles.

SmogShoppe’s spacious courtyard area is a peaceful respite and provides a welcome surprise to guests. It’s an oasis within Los Angeles, surrounded by garden walls filled with over 2,000 sq ft of greenery.

Top Tier Guidance & Experience
Highly recommend not being double startup employed when you get married, but if you are, Smog pulls everything together so smoothly and cleanly. Their preferred vendors were perfect for us, they completely understood flow, it was clearly not a "let's try this out for the first time!" We felt in great hands all the way through, the venue is gorgeous, our family and friends were extremely well cared for, and it truly was exactly the day we wanted. Their communication is proactive, prompt, and reassuring.

Great venue!!
SmogShoppe was the perfect venue for our sangeet (welcome event). The living walls and really unique interior made it so we barely had to decorate. The sofas and open indoor/outdoor area also made for the perfect cocktail reception area. Our guests are still talking about how cool the space was. On top of the venue, Clare and Galen, and the rest of the smog shoppe staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were super communicative, helpful, and super accommodating with any questions or concerns we had.

Couldn't have picked a better venue!
We got married at SmogShoppe in October, and it was truly the perfect venue. The space is stunning and unique, with a beautiful mix of greenery and modern industrial vibes. The team was extremely easy to work with and had great vendor recommendations. Our guests are still talking about how memorable the space was. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate, and would highly recommend to anyone planning a wedding!

Absolutely loved SmogShoppe!
SmogShoppe was the perfect venue for our big day! We looked for months and were so happy to have found Marvimon, who generously let us tour a few of their venues. SmogShoppe ended up being exactly what we were hoping for. They let us customize the day to be exactly what we envisioned. Their list of preferred vendors are also incredible, and it’s as so helpful to have an amazing team that all knew SmogShoppe inside and out. The prep, rehearsal, and wedding day went off flawlessly. SmogShoppe was without a doubt a huge part of the best day of our lives. We’re so grateful to have collaborated with them and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
