Originally the brainchild and residence of James Oviatt, this exquisite venue embodies a legacy of celebration and vibrant energy. With a capacity of up to 120 guests, The Oviatt offers a spacious 2,714 square feet divided among six rooms, complemented by a two-level 4,703 square foot terrace. Backed by a dedicated team of experienced event managers, our newly revamped venue ensures a seamless journey from envisioning your special occasion to bringing it to life

    The venue was just incredible. We picked it because of the historical background as well as the fact that we knew we wouldn't need to add much to make it beautiful. Lindsey and Gabe put us at ease and helped us through each step of the process. I loved how Lindsey worked with our vendors to ensure everything went according to plan on the day of. I’m loving all of the texts from guests letting us know what a beautiful and unique venue we had. From the historic charm of the building to the LA skyline changing from day to night, there's nothing else like it. I could not recommend this venue more!

    We reached out to The Oviatt with just a month to go—and from the very first call, Gabe was calm, collected, and fully supportive of both our vision and our budget. No stress, no pressure—just genuine enthusiasm to help us make it happen. Lindsey was incredible. Even though we were fairly on top of everything, she guided us with clarity, creativity, and care. When plans shifted, she adjusted seamlessly and brought everything together in a way that felt effortless (though we know it wasn’t!). Even when the downtown curfew popped up the week of our wedding, the team took every curveball in stride and made sure we felt cared for from start to finish. If you’re looking for a stunning Art Deco gem with a team that truly has your back—this is it.

    Lindsey & Gabe were incredibly open and welcoming since the beginning. Incredibly responsive to all my questions, they had awesome suggestions for catering, flowers & the DJ, and the service during our 7 hour event was just impeccable. Everything went according to plan. The Oviatt team & this space were simply perfect.

    From the moment my husband and I first contacted The Oviatt, we were impressed by their friendly & accommodating communication style. The team was a pleasure to work with, always quick to respond to our questions and open to customizing the space to fit our vision. On the day of the wedding, the venue looked absolutely stunning - our guests were blown away by the unique and beautiful setting. The Oviatt provided exceptional value, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day.
