About this venue

We are a historical landmark located in downtown Fullerton. If you are looking for a spanish colonial vibe, then this is the place for you! There is plenty of greenery surrounding our beautiful courtyard, minimizing your decorations. Our courtyard is under string lights that light up the courtyard in the evening to create that ambiance you are looking for. We have a second-floor terrace, this is where cocktail hour takes place and you have access to this your entire event time. When we don't have events, our restaurants seat the courtyard for breakfast or lunch so come and dine in one day to get a feel of our place!

I first experienced the magic of Villa Del Sol as a bride in 2016, and it was truly unforgettable. The venue is an absolute hidden gem—stunning, intimate, and full of charm. Everything about my wedding day exceeded expectations. Fast forward to today, and I now have the privilege of working at Villa Del Sol as a preferred vendor through my wedding planning business, Mrs. G Events. It’s hands down my favorite venue to work with! I’ve come to know every detail of the space, and it’s a dream for both clients and vendors. The team of caterers is fantastic—professional, efficient, and always a pleasure to collaborate with. Cosmos Rentals is another standout partner, ensuring the setup process is seamless every time. Beautiful venue
As a day-of wedding coordinator I have loved working at this venue. The options for caterers are great. The venue is a unique Spanish style outdoor space in Downtown Fullerton. You can rent a beautiful bridal suite as well. I highly recommend booking this venue.

Unique Venue
Out of all the venues that I've worked at, by far, this one was my favorite. It was secluded, which is surprising because it is in the middle of downtown, Fullerton. It was like a private, hidden outdoor club. Cool place, I hope I can work here again.

Awesome Management
The venue manager knew exactly what she was doing when we toured this place before we got married here. She gave us a handwritten breakdown, showed us all of the hidden fees, and came up with an overall wedding budget for us. Planning our wedding was super easy after booking this venue because we knew exactly how much to spend on everything. Thank you Celina for everything! Highly recommend!!

Super Organized
I loved working with this venue. The manager of the venue, Celina, she was easy to communicate with. The rental company and the caterer knew exactly what to do. All I had to do as a coordinator, was set up the decorations. I didn't have to do any setting up or tearing down. It made my job super easy the way that this venue runs everything. Try to get yourself in there, if any coordinators are reading this!

No, we require that ALL food and alcohol be purchased through one of our catering restaurants: Brownstone Cafe, Hidalgos, or Fullerton Brew Co.

Yes, there is parking in our building parking lot. It is limited and we will reserve 1-5 spots for anyone specific.

Yes, all we are wheelchair accessible. We also have an elevator, there are two steps after the elevator, but first floor is fully wheelchair accessible.

Our event times are from 5pm - 11pm. A full 6 hours.

Yes, we require event day of insurance.

All of the first floor businesses will lock their courtyard door entryways on event days, restaurants excluded.

We require that you order rentals through one of our rental companies; we have 2 different companies. We require that you order food/bar through one of our caterers; we have 4 different restaurants. We also require a professional coordinator from start to finish, to help set up and clean up.

We have a bridal suite; we do not have a groom's suite. Bridal suite hours start at 11am and closes promptly at 7pm; this is optional with prices ranging from $600-$775

No, we cannot extend the time to 12am. Events end promptly at 11pm and we give that 1 hour for everyone to clean up; the Villa courtyard doors lock up at 12am sharp. We don't recommend starting earlier; the restaurants have use of the courtyard until 2:15 pm and we need to allow time for vendors to set up.

Yes, we partner with 5 different hotels within a 3-mile radius.

We have separate men's and women's restrooms on the first floor (3 stalls) and on the second floor (2 stalls). Some of the restaurants have unisex restrooms.
