The Great Hall’s original bow truss ceiling, whitewashed brick walls, and artistic accents offer beautiful backdrops at every angle. Overlooking the first floor is The Loft, providing a separate-yet-connected space for guests to gather and celebrate.

    The best venue and the best food!

    From our first conversation with The Colony House, we knew we'd found the right venue. Their team was prompt and flexible with every question we had, and Cameron, our event host, made us feel so supported throughout the entire process. The space itself is stunning—the stylish setup with beautiful florals was exactly what we envisioned. Everything was already pre-set when we arrived, the air conditioning kept us comfortable all night, and honestly, the food was absolutely amazing. Cameron went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly, and the whole staff treated us with genuine kindness. We can't recommend The Colony House enough for couples looking for a venue that delivers on both style and service.

    Beautiful Space and Amazing Team!

    Working with The Colony House and 24 Carrots made things so easy! We were looking for somewhere with both indoor and outdoor space, and this venue had exactly what we wanted. The living plant wall is absolutely gorgeous, and the building itself is spacious without feeling empty. Shane helped us get everything set up at the beginning, and Cameron was amazing throughout the rest of the process. They were very communicative and flexible, and helped make every step as easy as possible leading up to the wedding day. We had a lot of changes with the guest counting leading up to the wedding, but Cameron was very helpful with updating everything quickly keep the layout balanced. On the day of the wedding, people kept coming to us to rave about the food, and we are still getting comments about it! Having parking available was also such a huge plus. We had an amazing wedding day thanks to the hard work of the catering and venue team here, and so grateful for everything they did to make it special.

    Highly Recommend!

    We had an amazing experience with this venue. The team was incredibly helpful, flexible, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. The venue itself is beautiful, and the catering was excellent—high-quality food with a wide variety of options. Portions were generous, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food. A special thank you to Shane and Cameron, who went above and beyond. They allowed us to stop by before the rehearsal to drop off items and practice our dance, which made everything much less stressful. On the wedding day, there was a miscommunication between vendors that led to an additional fee, and the venue was kind enough to help accommodate it. We also thought we had lost an important personal item, and Shane took the time to check the security footage and confirm that nothing was missing. We truly appreciated that extra level of care. We’re so grateful for their support in making our special day so memorable. Highly recommend it!

    The Colony House

    The Colony House was an absolute pleasure to work with as a wedding vendor. Their communication was quick, professional, and warm throughout the entire process. The venue itself is truly stunning - spacious, beautifully designed, and completely unique. They provided an incredible value for the quality of the space and service. I would highly recommend The Colony House to any couple looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding venue.

All indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the property are exclusively available to you during your event, including: the Great Room, Loft, Patio, and Suite. The Colony House has the flexibility of many different types of layouts! The indoor Great Room can seat up to 250 guests. For weddings, this is a great space for a ceremony, then flipped to reception by your 24 Carrots staff. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the outdoor Patio and indoor Loft. Please talk with your venue representative about suggested layouts based on guest count and preferences. The Suite is available starting at 10am the day of your event.
Eight (8) hours of event time are included with the venue rental from event start time to event conclusion. Events must conclude by no later than 12am. Vendors may arrive as early as 10am and must complete strike by 1am.
The Colony House includes a private lot with 125 complimentary parking spaces and offers overnight parking until 10am the next day. Please contact your venue representative for additional information or for valet services.
Yes, rest assured that your guest count can increase up to venue capacity or reduce by 10% of your signed, initial contract. For example, if you sign the 24 Carrots contract for 100 guests, your contract allows changes to as low as 90 guests. Final guest counts, final selections, and the final payment are due 10 business days prior to your event date.
Yes! Tastings are one of our favorite parts of the planning process and are complimentary after booking and signing your venue and catering contracts. Private tastings are hosted at the 24 Carrots corporate offices in Costa Mesa and are recommended 4-6 months prior to your event date. If your event has not been booked yet, a tasting fee applies but will be credited towards your initial deposit upon booking. Additional guests will be charged a non-refundable tasting fee.
A signed catering and venue contract with 24 Carrots and 20% payment is required to secure a date (or 50% payment if the event date is within 6 months). Please note that venue date availability is on a first come, first served basis. Preliminary dates included in proposals do not guarantee date availability and will only be guaranteed upon receipt and payment. Holds are not available, and discussion of dates or receipt of a proposal does not guarantee a reservation.
