Open the doors to a spacious modern room and an even greater outdoors. With our official opening in 2015, The Event Center quickly became known for its modern look and incredible views of the Conejo Valley. The Event Center is unique in that it is a City-owned property available for weekday programs or private event rentals throughout the week. Not only is The Event Center available for private events, but there are year-round community events like The Student Art Show, State of the City, Art exhibits, a Holiday Boutique, and more!

We are a one-of-a-kind industrial space available to celebrate your wedding day! The Center is equipped with a 3500 sq. ft rentable Event Center, Catering kitchen, handicapped accessible restroom facilities, an inviting lobby, and a great patio area. The Center hosts a wide variety of activities throughout the year and can be rented for private functions.

Working at The Event Center Agoura Hills as a wedding photographer was an exceptional experience. The venue's stunning location provided a breathtaking backdrop for both ceremony and reception photos. Its spacious layout and inviting atmosphere allowed me to capture every moment, from intimate pre-wedding preparations to the celebratory reception. The Event Center has a total of 112 spaces including handicap and electric vehicle spaces. Shuttles are recommended if you have an exceptionally large event.

Yes! You are more than welcome to make the space your own. Just send us a detailed email with the special event equipment or temporary structures you want to bring in (i.e. stages, arches, lighting, draping, furniture, etc.). All rental or additional equipment must be approved in writing by the City of Agoura Hills Staff 60 days prior to the event. Don’t forget to check out our Instagram for ideas on décor!

Our ceiling is very high (over 20ft!) so it is difficult to hang anything from them. We suggest bringing in stands and bases to string market lights or draping. If you are up for the challenge of hanging décor, we will require additional insurance and an endorsement by your vendor. Equipment must be approved 60 days prior to the event. If not pre-approved, ceiling décor will not be allowed. Tip: Some additional lighting may require extra power in which case you should bring in a generator.

Per our policy, open flames, candles, and fog/smoke machines are not permitted. We try to take great care of the mountains behind us. We only allow covered flames or candles for your cooking equipment or for a short religious ceremony. Both options will need to be pre-approved. Tip: If you want the real candle look, use flickering LED candles. Your guests won’t be able to tell they’re not real candles!
