I am a home-based florist in Rancho Palos Verdes, California who creates everything from wonderful personal bouquets to elaborate wedding designs. My core business belief is to develop a personal relationship with each of my customers, so that I can provide the highest-quality floral arrangements that fit within my customer's budget.

I get inspiration from understanding what my customers want and their vision and transform that inspiration into my flower arrangements. All of my flower arrangements are original and individually custom-made based on my inspiration from speaking with the customer. My specialty is delicate color coordination of flower arrangements. I implement color schemes to enhance beauty of flowers with applying tint, shade and highlight just like painting art.

    Beautiful Florals for Our Son's Wedding

    If I could give Akiko more than 5 stars, I would.

    Akiko has been creating beautiful floral arrangements for my husband’s family for years. She was the florist behind every bouquet my late father-in-law gave my mother-in-law—whether it was for anniversaries, birthdays, or simply because. During our years of dating, my (now) husband also surprised me with countless gorgeous arrangements from Akiko. Because of the special place her flowers have held in our lives, there was never a question about who we wanted to create the florals for our wedding. From the very beginning, Akiko was an absolute dream to work with. She communicated clearly throughout the entire process, helped guide me on which flowers and greenery would best bring my vision to life, and even recommended alternatives that would hold up beautifully in the July heat. I gave her very minimal inspiration, yet she somehow understood exactly what I envisioned. She created the most stunning ceremony bouquet, gorgeous reception florals, and even made a boutonnière for my late father-in-law, whose blazer we displayed on a reserved seat in his honor during our reception. That thoughtful detail meant so much to our family. Everything was delivered right on time and was absolutely perfect. My bridal bouquet stayed beautiful through the two-hour drive from Torrance to Santa Barbara, looked flawless throughout the entire day, and continued to look incredible for several days after our ceremony. Our reception flowers added the perfect pop of color and tied all of our décor together in a way that exceeded every expectation. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but having Akiko as one of our vendors made everything feel effortless. Her talent, professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail are truly unmatched. We are beyond grateful for everything she created for us, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.     Great flower arrangement and price

    We have had a flower arrangement service provided by Akiko's Floral Design for our daughter & son-in-law's wedding reception. Akiko is a wonderful, lovely, and creative woman! Akiko was great in communication and provided suggestions for setting up the flower centerpiece and wedding arch. She arrived on time and the setup was excellent. The flower arrangements looked very Beautiful. We are very happy with Akiko's Floral Design service and we would recommend her service to any of our friends or family members who need her services.

    Dream Wedding

    Akiko was such a pleasure to work with! I had a very specific vision for what I wanted in regards to the style, type of flowers, and overall look of the arrangements. She was able to execute exactly what I wanted and on the day of the wedding I was in awe of how beautiful everything came out. The centerpieces and sweetheart table were better than I could ever imagine! I loved the bouquets and arch as well. It’s was truly a dream come true and Akiko’s prices are more competitive than any other florist I talked to. You won’t be disappointed with her work! She is also very flexible and easy going which made the process as stress free as can be. My wedding guests kept complimenting how stunning the flowers were. I’m so happy I went with Akiko!
