Desiree was our coordinator for our wedding this past June, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a day-of wedding coordinator! Desiree made us feel comfortable and confident from our very first meeting with her via Zoom. She seemed knowledgeable about the wedding planning process and was also just super happy for us which made the year leading up to our wedding feel even more special. She was always responsive when we had questions and she absolutely KILLED it on the actual wedding day. She completely handled setup and even did our dinner tablescapes which turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. We did have one hiccup where there was a miscommunication and Desiree ended up not making it to our venue walkthrough a few weeks before the wedding, but it turned out fine since she already had familiarity with our venue and because we were able to answer all of the venue's questions ourselves. Anyway, this is just a small portion of what we loved about working with Desiree, but it's safe to say we feel great about our choice of wedding coordinator and would definitely go with Desiree if we had to do it all over again.

(Full disclaimer: This was before Jill’s prices went up.) I originally was looking for a day-of-coordinator for my wedding because my budget at the time was under 1k for one, but Jill gave me a great deal at the time to be a full on wedding planner as she was just starting her business. And I’m glad I went with that option because I didn’t realize how much goes into the type of wedding I wanted. If you’re having a wedding that has over 110 guests and has a lot of moving parts- you need to hire a wedding planner (with an assistant ideally). In hindsight, I think I would have paid a little extra for an assistant as well because there were some details in the reception that were overlooked-through no one’s fault- just a lot was going on that day. Thankfully, none of the guests noticed these missing details (Like the customized dessert bags that were never used, or candy that were still in boxes, the heaters not being put up on time -This was a November wedding, and the wedding cake missing its decorative flowers). But this was a learning experience, and overall, I’m thankful to have had Jill by my side, because I think things would have been much worse if I didn’t have her help. At one point, a second mariachi band showed up announced, but that was taken care of lol. I’m not sure what other wedding planners do, but I was happy that Jill allowed me the freedom to come up with the vision and design for my wedding, while she took care of the logistics and planning- like arranging video call meetups w/ the vendors and venue which helped a lot. It also helped that her schedule was flexible despite some personal family emergencies that happened during the process. I’m sure once her business grows more she will be able to get the extra help needed to plan much bigger, more fantastical weddings! Overall, I would recommend Jill as a wedding planner: She’s very down-to-earth, punctual (thank you for getting to the courthouse on time while I was running late) , professional, compassionate- took well to my notes, and concerns, and jumped to the occasion. My favorite part of the service was contract review, where they breakdown each line of the contract so nothing surprised us. We also used their Day-of Coordination, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when they recommended a Junior Coordinator too. Our wedding had two locations—ceremony and reception—and having a point person at each site was a total game-changer, so I'm glad they guided us. It meant everything ran smoothly, and I didn’t get bombarded with questions or last-minute details. The Junior Coordinator handled all the logistics at the ceremony while the lead coordinator managed things at the reception. If your budget allows it, splurge for this add on for sure. Together, they made sure every little detail was perfect. I recommend Mostest to everyone - we were able to enjoy our wedding day without stressing about the details. If you’re on the fence about whether to use their services, don’t hesitate—they’re worth every penny!

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! I could not be happier with Tavi & Hun Events as my wedding planner! I don’t even have the words for how impressed we were (and still are) with the work she put into our wedding but I’m going to try! She had a big challenge ahead of her with planning the first full-scale wedding at an unconventional venue (the movie theater/video store Vidiots) and she not only took on the challenge, we could tell that she was excited to do so. Tavi has a lot of great vendor partners, many of which we ended up using, and she was great at handling communication & details with any new vendors she hadn’t worked with before. Honestly, if there were any challenges or bumps along the way, we had no clue, and that’s exactly what a good wedding and event planner should do - make the event go seamlessly and stress-free for the couple. A month later and we’re STILL getting compliments from our friends & family about how special and fun our wedding was, and we owe so much of that to Tavi and her impeccable organization and planning. The day itself went off without a hitch! I’ve been telling everyone that hiring Tavi was the best money we spent on the wedding, and that’s absolutely true. Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. My wife and I just had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception and owe a tremendous amount of the outcome to our wedding coordinator Joy. We were attempting to plan a fairly large wedding in a span of less than three months. After getting a venue and recommendations for vendors I set out trying to put this together. After a couple weeks I realized there was just too many things to do, and reached out and hired Joy. From that moment she took control and eased all my worries. She contacted all the vendors, put together the wedding and reception timelines all while keeping us informed and modifying things based on changes we wanted. She was most amazing on the day of the event, my wife is Filipina and a few of her bridesmaids were going on “Philippino Time”, Joy never got flustered she adjusted on the fly, worked seamlessly with our photographer who need “20 more minutes “ for some some additional photos. She adjusted everything and we completed all the things we wanted done before the reception ended. I cannot recommend her services more and can guarantee she will meet all your needs for your event. Thank you Joy!

Natalie is the sweetest, most detail oriented wedding planner I’ve ever met!!! Her and her husband Daniel make such a great team. Along with Lead Production Designer Brendan, Assistant Luke, Production Assistant Caterina, and her whole Production team, they all contributed significantly to my big wedding day! From the moment we started working with Natalie at our first initial call, we felt an instant sigh of relief that we were able to work with someone who understood our vision. Natalie was able to build mood boards and decks of beautiful inspiration photos after describing to her how we wanted our wedding to look and feel. She worked with us as a partial wedding planner, although we truly wished we found her from the start to book her as a full wedding planner! With every decision that needed to be made along the process (whether it was deciding to spend more on an item or cut back on other items) she always made sure to lay out ALL the options, which helped us make an informed decision. Natalie even took a day out of her time to go shopping with me for welcome table decor the week of my wedding to ensure that we had something ready and set up for the big day! We are so impressed with her kindness, patience, and professionalism in the wedding planning industry! Events by Angela Monique (with her team of 3) was our wedding planner, and we were pleased with their service. Their communication style summarized conversations, was direct, and inquisitive to vendors, primarily through email, and they were assertive in keeping us on track. The quality of their work was comprehensive, detailed, and particular. They did an excellent job setting up and tearing down all of the decorations, and their day-of coordination was flawless, though the pre-planning process was a bit stressful due to some misalignment between their vision and ours. Overall, Angela Monique was a brilliant day-of coordinator, flexible with travel fees, and provided us with a bonus video of the event photos.

Alexis’ Cheers Event Company is one of the greatest coordinator and planning services we ever encountered. She made us feel comfortable that we didn’t have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. We ended up doing the Month of Coordination, and even though that left most of the planning and creation up to us; Alexis was always a phone call away if we ever needed advice or referrals.
