From visual and theatrical artist to Division I tennis player, courtroom prosecutor, and now event planner, she has mastered high-pressure environments, honed meticulous attention to detail, and refined the art of storytelling. Today, she channels that same precision and creativity into designing seamless, deeply personal events that reflect each client’s unique story.

    Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.

    My retirement party would not have been the success it was without Alexandra's event planning vision. She helped me throughout the process from invitations to food choices to organizing the evening's programming. I adopted her idea of creating a printout featuring my career's highlights to be placed on every plate tying together the event's color scheme. The result was visually beautiful and thoughtfully communicated the significance of my life's work.     I have attended and hosted multiple events thrown by A la Modon Events, and can honestly say that each one has been more beautiful than the next. Alex is so creative and thoughtful, not a single detail was missed! From baby showers to birthday parties, she always comes up with the perfect themes, spot on decor, and the most incredible catering. Alex goes the extra mile to ensure that not only the “guest of honor” is happy, but that all the other guests feel comfortable and taken care of in every aspect, as well.
