Urban Palms was an absolutely fabulous wedding venue — I wouldn’t have changed a single thing! The space is stunning, and the pricing was very reasonable. They were also incredibly accommodating with our budget, which we truly appreciated. One of the biggest highlights was that the venue includes catering through Critics Choice Catering. Having the catering and tableware handled in-house removed so much stress from the planning process. Kaycie was wonderful to work with — so enthusiastic, organized, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. From our very first tour to the food tasting and final details meeting, she listened carefully to our needs and was always quick to respond to every text or call. Everything turned out picture-perfect, and it was magical seeing the venue completely transformed for our big day. Kaycie also provided excellent vendor recommendations, which saved me so much time since I didn’t have a lot of time to plan. We used her suggested photographer, florist, and bridal party makeup team — and they were all fantastic. I highly recommend doing the day-of coordination with Kaycie and her team. I didn’t have to answer a single question on my wedding day — everything ran seamlessly. The coordinators were amazing, especially when I had a bustle mishap with my dress and they fixed it in seconds! They truly catered to us all evening, greeting us with drinks and appetizers upon arrival and keeping the entire timeline running perfectly. We hosted our cocktail hour in the Palm Court with our photo booth, enjoyed an intimate dinner in the Promenade with a beautiful U-shaped table setup, had our first dances and dance floor on the Lido Deck, and finished with cake cutting and a lounge area on the Sky Deck. It was incredibly romantic and such a unique use of the space. The venue is conveniently located right off the 405 freeway, but the walls are soundproof — you can’t hear any traffic at all. Plus, there’s a huge parking lot, so no valet is needed. Overall, Urban Palms is a beautiful, well-organized, and stress-free venue. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to have a truly magical wedding day!

The Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, their communication was fast and responsive, which made the planning process a breeze. Danielle, our coordinator, was incredibly helpful, even coming down to assist with our rehearsal at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond, seamlessly transitioning our ceremony from outside to the indoor reception space. We were impressed by how everything has been recently remodeled - the space is clean, bright, and beautifully appointed. I highly recommend this location for any events, as the staff is great and the venue is truly top-notch.

We had our wedding reception at Bluewater Grill in Redondo Beach, and it was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. The Event Manager, Vida, was absolutely incredible. She made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Leading up to the event, she was always clear, responsive, and organized, and when a few of our personal hiccups came up the day before, she immediately stepped in with solutions. She even went above and beyond by offering to handle items we had planned to manage ourselves, which took so much stress off our plate. On the day of the wedding, we were completely blown away. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely wonderful to work with. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, it truly exceeded expectations. And the setting…you simply can’t beat it. The ocean views and sunset through the windows created the most magical atmosphere for our special day. Our wedding was unforgettable, and we owe so much of that to Vida and her team. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress free, and truly special experience.

Throughout the planning process, their communication was prompt, precise and proficient in addressing all of our questions and requests. On our big day, the ceremony harbour terrace setup was simply beautiful, elegant and poised - the ocean views made for an intriguing backdrop as we exchanged our vows. The staff worked seamlessly to transform the space from ceremony to reception, and everything flowed together beautifully. For the value, we found the Sonesta to offer gorgeous waterfront venues and top-notch service at reasonable prices compared to other beachside locations in the LA area. We highly recommend them for any couple looking for a beautiful, memorable Southern California wedding!

Had the best wedding the portofino. It was beautiful and so easy and fun for our out of town guests. The venue was beautiful and the staff was so helpful, from planning through to the day off. Chris and Rain were great! Loved the getting ready rooms. Loved the reception on the lawn. Loved the views. Loved the food! We got lots of comments on the food being great and the bartenders being lightening fast. We’d choose portofino again if we could do it all over.

We had the most wonderful wedding experience at the Courtyard by Marriott LA Westside. Our Catering Manager, Alex Cantu was so helpful, caring, and professional. We had a short timeline from planning to our big day and all was handled with care and ease. The Palisades patio was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. My husband and I attended their Wedding and Event Showcase to check out local vendors and ended up booking our entire wedding that day! Our original plan was to do a courthouse wedding and a small reception at our home but changed our mind after touring the venue. We fell in love with the Fireside Room. It was cozy, dim with Spanish-style vibes, perfect for a moody romantic wedding I had envisioned our wedding to be. We even decided to have our ceremony on the golf course at First Tee. It was perfect for us and our guests to have both in the same venue. What really convinced us to have our wedding here were our coordinators, Jennifer Flores and Carina Martinez. They were so kind and helpful from the first day we met at the Showcase all the way through to our wedding day. We were on a tight budget and had only two months to plan our 50-guest wedding. They had many different options to choose from. Carina was very patient and helped us choose the package best for us. We could not have asked for a better team. We are so grateful to them and the rest of the team for making our day special. An honorable mention goes to the Director of Food and Beverage, Mr. Jose Chavez. He was amazing! He made sure our menu for our guests was perfect, our His & Hers signature cocktails were exactly how we wanted them, the tables layout, everything! Kudos to him and his bartenders. They did an amazing job the day of our wedding as well as Carina, who stayed until the very end to make sure everything went smoothly. We cannot thank them enough. For the reception dinner we chose the plated meal service and chose the grilled chicken breast with a garlic cream sauce and the braised short rib, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our guests had the option to choose chicken or beef for dinner. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the braised short rib. We offered our guests a one hour hosted cocktail hour while we took our photos by the lake, prior to entering the Fireside Room for dinner. We highly recommend this venue for weddings and other celebrations. It is a beautiful venue with many options. You will not regret it!

If what you are seeking is a truly magical venue, look no further than the Velaslavasay Panorama. My wife and I did not want to have the typical hotel conference hall wedding. We wanted to show our family from outside of LA a place that was meaningful to us and at the same time still impress our friends from LA. The Panorama is genuinely extraordinary, with several different areas that can be arranged to suit your celebration. Our guest list was about 70 people and it was the perfect size. We opted to have our main ceremony in the historic theatre, our cocktail reception with our bartender in the lush garden, our musician play in the gazebo, and our dinner in the large area outside the moon gate. This made it easy for pick ups and drop offs with our catering and table / chair / bar rental. Sara and Ruby from the Panorama were absolutely lovely to deal with and helped considerably with logistics before, during, and after the event. Our photographer loved all of the different backdrops possible and everyone kept mentioning how wonderful the venue was. Check it out, I'm sure you will be absolutely stunned by the Panorama.

From the morning of the event, Tre and her husband were helpful, supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went well. The suites available for getting ready were perfect for photos, our first look, and our first touch. My family was also able to use the other suite, which made the day feel comfortable and organized from the very beginning. One of the coolest parts was having our ceremony in the space and then watching it completely transform into the reception during cocktail hour. The room flip turned out beautifully. Our guests were impressed, and honestly, so were we. We received so many compliments on how everything looked and how smoothly the transition happened. Tre also brought amazing ideas that contributed to the overall vision of our ceremony and celebration. She truly helped bring our vision to life and made us feel confident every step of the way. My family selected Jamaica Bay Inn because it was next to a small beach cove accessible from the Bermuda banquet room. We gathered for a Celebration of Life event and wanted to fly kites in memory of our beloved that passed away. Sayyora the Catering Manager was extremely efficient and flexible with the menu and my special request. Christina and the banquest staff were amazing. Christina had to leave the room to answer another clients questions and made sure another banquet person was in the room until she returned. The food was hot and plentiful. We selected the Buffet Pasta Station (1 with chicken and 1 with shrimp), baby greens salad, delicious fresh fruit. Accomodations were made for my request for a gluten free menu. I was in the hospitality business for 19 years for major hotels as a Catering Manger and Covention Services Manager and my critical eye can be hard to please. But I must say that the attention to detail was above and beyond. I would recommend Jamacia Bay at every opportunity. My family wants to return for a family reunion or just a family luncheon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Last October my son got married in down town LA. Grooms side from NY & Brides side from Dallas. Our family and friends all stayed at the Hoxton downtown. We ate, drank and partied for 4 days. The hotel and staff were generous and accommodating in every way. The good bye Sunday brunch was warm and comfortable, I felt as if I was home. The food was remarkable.
