Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Nationally recognized as a California Point of Historical Interest, the Inn dates back to the early 1920’s, when a group of international businessmen set out to develop the ‘ideal residential community.’ The landmark ocean view estate is a beautifully restored 1920’s Spanish villa and used to entertain guests from the world over through exceptional weddings and events. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one of a kind property.

Amazing venue!
La Venta Inn is a truly special place. The historic charm, ocean views, and Spanish-style architecture made it feel romantic without trying too hard. As the day went on and the sun started to set, the venue somehow just kept getting better. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was and how smoothly everything flowed from one part of the night to the next. Made by Meg was incredible. The food was beautiful, yes, but more importantly it was actually delicious. We’re still hearing from guests about how good the meal was, which isn’t something you always hear after a wedding. The service felt professional but warm, and everything ran seamlessly without us ever having to think about what was happening behind the scenes.

I recently worked at La Venta as a planner. They are a one-a-kind venue in Southern California that offers a beautiful view, a historic location, and a full service catering team that handles the day professionally and at a high standard. Hope to be back at La Venta soon!

Thank you La Venta!!! This venue is worth every penny. My day was absolutely perfect. The venue is a dream, but the staff are amazing as well. Thank you Savanna for being such a bright and happy point of contact. You answered all of our questions and it was so clear and easy. Kat from MadeByMeg was phenomenal—hands-down my favorite vendor. She made wedding planning effortless and fun, navigating the chaos of venue and catering options with ease. Kat was incredibly responsive and always went above and beyond. Working with La Venta’s staff, especially Cameron and Savannah, was seamless. The venue is stunning, intimate, and perfect. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly—I was amazed. Guests were so impressed they started taking photos in the parking lot! La Venta and MadeByMeg staff were exceptional, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

The staff went above and beyond to make our day seamless, and we truly felt taken care of. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food—it was delicious and beautifully presented! The venue itself is stunning, with its gorgeous ocean views and elegant, intimate atmosphere. It created the most magical backdrop for our wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque setting. We are beyond grateful for the amazing experience La Venta Inn provided.
