I love capturing all of the raw, beautiful moments as they naturally unfold on your wedding day. Candids are some of my favorite photos! Don't worry; I will most definitely get those posed family photos as well, but for most of the day, I'm there to document it all as it naturally happens. I would love to chat with you more about your wedding plans and how I can be a part of documenting it!
My focus is making you feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to be yourself. I want your photos to make you feel like you really see yourself or your relationship in your photos. My approach: I keep you moving. No rigid, stiff posing. Movement, interactive, prompts, and capturing those in between moments that are really you.

Budget Stretch, Zero Regrets
I was a 2025 bride, and to be completely transparent, we originally planned to spend no more than 3,500 on a wedding photographer. After speaking with Candy, we decided to invest 2,000 more than our initial budget, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Candy’s communication is truly exceptional—you can immediately tell she loves what she does. She is incredibly creative, adapts effortlessly to any situation, and brings such a calm, confident presence. She’s never pushy, yet she directs with grace, which made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I were married at 21c Museum Hotel in Durham, and we wanted a blend of elegant, traditional wedding photos along with fun, fashion-forward, editorial-style images—and Candy absolutely delivered on both. Her editorial shots look so effortless, even though you can tell there’s a lot of intention and artistry behind them. We inquired with five different wedding photographers, but we immediately connected with Candy—her personality, professionalism, and stunning work stood out from the rest. Beyond her talent, she is genuinely one of the sweetest, most humble, and human people you’ll ever meet. Candy offers a truly elevated wedding photography experience, and I would recommend her without hesitation to any couple looking for timeless, editorial, and heartfelt wedding photography.
