    Wonderful DJ recommendation

    My husband and I just got married this past Saturday June 6th and we used DJ Stylus as our lovely DJ for the evening. We absolutely loved the music selections and working with DJ Will! He was amazing start to finish keeping our party on the dance floor all night! We would highly recommend them to anyone with DJ needs!

    Stylus knows how to make a party happen!

    Jason and the Stylus team are amazing to work with. They are proactive to make sure they have everything they need for your event which is so helpful and very responsive if you contact them for something. Our DJ was Spencer for my daughter’s bat mitzvah party and he was amazing. The assistant DJ with the photo booth was amazing as well and just as engaged. We’re still being told what an awesome party we had thanks to Stylus!

This is going to depend on your event but here's some basics: 1: Reception Sound System (if you've got more than 75 ppl you might want a sub) 2: Ceremony Sound System & Microphones (so that your guests can hear) 3. DJ/MC/Event Director (your Stylus DJ does all of this for you) 4. Planning Insight & Personalization (Stylus provides this for you too) 5. Get to know what's important to you - what do you remember best about the weddings you've been to? Every wedding is different - and you need to make sure that you prioritize what's best for your event. If you're not sure - give us a quick call and we'll help you narrow down your best options!
There are 3 main elements to keep an eye on when you're hiring a wedding DJ because you're putting about 75%-80% of your entire event in their hands. 1: DJing - This is the make or break - not all DJs have the same level of expertise or skills. The easiest way to get a feel for this is to listen to mixes. 2: MCing - DJs should direct attention, not take it. There needs to be variation in their voice, ask them to give you an example of how they might intro the wedding party and then the first dance. 3: Event Direction - ask them how they handle the toasts. If it's a short answer, this might not be their strong suit. It's complex!
Simple: 1. a signed agreement (don't worry if you don't have everything nailed down yet - we have an 'open agreement' policy because we don't expect you to know everything right out of the gate) 2. Retainer. We usually have this set around 50% (with the balance due around 10 days prior to your event) but we can set it as low as $500 - our job is to make this as easy for you as possible!
It depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for the McDonalds burger of DJs (in that case, call Elite DJ Solutions - that's literally what they're there for) or are you looking for a different experience? If you're looking to keep costs down, you can get a great Stylus reception DJ for under $2000. If you're looking for a wow can't miss ceremony cocktail hour and reception, our most popular option is the Prestige package, with is only $2995. If you're looking for a bigger blowout to make an impression, you're probably looking at between $5000 and $12,000 depending on how elaborate you want to get.
