Hey there! I’m a boutique wedding DJ that works with a limited number of couples to fully customize the vibe of the wedding day to their style & personality, and help their guests have more fun than they planned on, until the very last song! As a modern DJ, host, & party producer I guide you through bringing your wedding party vision to life, while delivering an engaging wedding experience through crowd interaction, music curation, and immersive sound & full-room lighting design. Plus, your guests might just think you hired Pitbull ;)

I offer one custom experience that covers all top quality sound equipment, lighting, everything you'll need, and much more for the entire wedding day with no time limits. I also offer a flexible deposit schedule, and the ability to add an amazing saxophonist that's adds energy to the dance party!

The BEST vibes
Marty was such a delight to work with! He brought so much positive energetic energy to the planning meetings and literally had everything we needed before we even knew we needed it. That energy he brought to the planning meetings he brought to the dance floor x10. We definitely had a mix of songs from a lot of different genres and he worked his magic and somehow mashed them all together perfectly! If you're looking for a DJ that always brings the best vibes, you should go with Marty!

Marty Rocks!!
Marty was a PHENOMENAL DJ for my recent North Carolina wedding. His friendliness, attention to detail and flexibility to our musical preferences all stood out in both our initial meeting and the reception party. Not only was he well-organized in how to build out his playlists for the reception alongside our input, but his audio setup worked perfectly for the ceremony and provided great sound for every step of the day. Some of the best value possible if you're in the market for a DJ...and it's because Marty goes above and beyond in all aspects!

Yes! You can be as specific or open as you'd like about your music preferences. I'm here to make this perfect for what you and your guests like.

I have an amazing app called Vibo that lets you easily import music from your own playlists (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Youtube), make specific song requests, view my recommended playlists to get ideas, and fill in wedding info so it's all in one place. Plus you can even invite your guests to make song requests on the app before the wedding.

I use wireless speakers that can be placed anywhere, and I use wireless lapel mini microphones for the officiant, and couples vows & guest readings. My speakers are waterproof and I'm not afraid of a little rain! My rule is "if you can stand outside in it, so can I".

Good sound equipment makes people want to dance more and I use top-quality sound equipment from RCF that immerses you in sound at any volume; you've haven't heard music sound this good before! For lighting I use modern tube/bar lights that are wireless so they can be placed anywhere, they're bright enough to make a party vibe but unlike traditional lighting they don't blind people or ruin the photos during the event. I also offer room up-lighting to enhance the look of any venue by coloring the walls with colored light. I have examples of these in my profile "Photos & Videos" section.

Yes! I always setup a wireless microphone to use for any toasts/speeches.

I perform weddings in NC, VA, & SC. I charge a travel fee for weddings outside of the Raleigh-Chapel Hill-Durham areas of NC. Contact me with your wedding location & date for an accurate pricing estimate.

I customize the music to match the client and the event. I'm completely comfortable with a wide variety of music; Pop, Rap/Hip-Hop, Rock, EDM, Country, Latin, R&B, Motown, Funk, modern hits, early 2000's, 90's, 80's, 70's, etc. When it's dance time I do real DJ transitions to keep the dance floor energy going and I read the crowd to match the music to the event & guests. You deserve more than a budget Spotify DJ that doesn't care if your guests leave and the dance floor is empty. I'm also well versed in non-dance music for the times when you need good music at a non-dance energy for cocktail hour, dinner, or a welcome party.

Let me know your date & location, then I'll give you a pricing quote and answer any questions you have. If you'd like to move forward with booking I'll send you a contract to look over and e-sign. Then a 50% deposit is due within 30 days, I accept most major forms of payment like credit card, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, Cash App, ACH transfer, and a mailed check. After I receive the deposit you're all set! I'll reach out to setup a time to chat on a phone call or video call to start getting a feel on your wedding vibe.

Room Up-lighting is a set of wireless lights that are placed on the floor and shoot a soft beam of colored light up the wall. I control these lights to match my dance floor lighting and can change them from a soft color during dinner and then changing along with the music colors during dancing. This is a great and inexpensive way to decorate a venue and really makes the room feel like a party. I have examples of these in my profile "Photos & Videos" section.
