Disappointed
We are disappointed with the overall service we received. We hired Alondra as our day-of coordinator so our wedding would run smoothly and our families could enjoy the day without having to manage logistics. Before we signed the contract, Alondra was incredibly responsive. After we signed, communication slowed considerably, and interactions with us and our vendors lacked attention to detail. For example, she used the wrong names with a vendor, said multiple times that she would reach out but needed reminders, and communication often felt disorganized. She also shared a planning spreadsheet that was already partially completed by another couple. It included their wedding website and personal information. When we mentioned it, she initially said it was example information. After I showed her the document history, it was clear it had contained another couple’s actual information, which was concerning from both a professionalism and privacy standpoint. About a month before our wedding, we shared these concerns with her. She was apologetic, took responsibility, and assured us she would personally handle everything moving forward. We appreciated that conversation and wanted to trust the process. Her communication did improve, although there were still occasional issues. Unfortunately, the wedding day itself was our biggest disappointment. As the bride, I think we only spoke twice all day. There was no check-in when I arrived, no text that morning, and I often had to ask what was happening rather than being guided through the timeline. Before the ceremony, she told me she would text me when it was time to come downstairs instead of coming to get me. Then, as I walked down the aisle, she held my dress train and walked alongside me, appearing in our ceremony photos and becoming a distraction during one of the most meaningful moments of our wedding. As the evening went on, the coordination became increasingly disorganized, and our family stepped in to handle several responsibilities we had expected our coordinator to manage. While unexpected situations can happen at any wedding, we expected our coordinator to help keep things running smoothly and find solutions. There were several additional moments that stood out. When it was time to cut the cake, there were no plates or forks ready, leaving us awkwardly waiting. She also began cleaning up while guests were still present so she could leave shortly after the reception ended. Since our wedding itself was only about three hours long, we expected our day-of coordinator to remain fully engaged until the event concluded. Overall, we felt that instead of reducing our stress, we spent much of the planning process and wedding day double-checking details and managing situations ourselves. Alondra is a kind person, but our experience did not meet the level of professionalism or coordination we expected. Since the wedding, we also have not heard from her. We wanted to share our experience so future couples have a complete picture before making their decision.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Reading your review was difficult because it does not reflect the extraordinary circumstances we faced that day or the tremendous effort my assistant and I put into making your wedding happen. Your wedding was held outdoors without a tent for either the ceremony or reception. Throughout the day, we experienced heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning, requiring my assistant and me to repeatedly dismantle, dry, and reset tables, chairs, décor, and guest areas multiple times in an effort to preserve your vision while keeping everyone as safe as possible. Throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, I communicated weather-related concerns and recommended alternatives as conditions continued to change while respecting the decisions made regarding the event. While coordinating vendors, managing the timeline, and overseeing the event, we also stepped in to assist with tasks beyond the scope of our coordination services whenever additional help was needed. Our focus throughout the day was on finding solutions so your celebration could continue despite the challenging conditions. I also acknowledge the planning error you mentioned regarding the spreadsheet. I took responsibility for that mistake, personally oversaw your wedding, and have since implemented changes to ensure it does not happen again. While I understand that your experience did not meet your expectations, I believe it is important for future couples to understand the unique circumstances surrounding your wedding day. My assistant and I remained fully committed from the moment we arrived until the event concluded, doing everything we could to support you, your families, and your vendors. I truly wish you and Derrick a lifetime of happiness together.

Remington & Co. Events was an incredible wedding day coordinator for our special day. Alondra, our main point of contact, had great communication skills and always had the small details organized. She made me feel very comfortable, and I felt we could easily communicate as she was always available to help. Alondra works harder than a lot of people I know - she worked tirelessly on the day of our wedding to get all the decorations organized and ensure everyone was in place. The flow of the entire event was great, and we would not have been able to pull it off without Alondra's amazing coordination. She became like a friend to us and made sure our entire wedding party felt prepared. Alondra's kindness shone through when she left us a thoughtful Polaroid photo and note in our guest book, helping to bring our vision to life. We are so grateful we chose Remington & Co. Events and feel fortunate to have had Alondra as our day-of coordinator.

Amazing day of coordination services!
Alondra was amazing to work with! We booked for her day of coordination services and are so glad we did. She and her team were great in taking care of all the things that came up on the wedding day. The best planner we could ever ask for
Remington & Co. Events was an amazing wedding planning team that made our special day truly unforgettable. From the moment we first connected, their communication was comprehensive, attentive, and so caring - they really listened to our vision and worked tirelessly to bring it to life. My Son Wedding
Alondra Remington Wedding & Event Planner was an exceptional wedding planner for our special day. From the start, her communication style was good, assertive, and she was always alert to our needs. The quality of her work was wonderful, and she was a sweet person to work with throughout the planning process. It was wonderful to have her as the wedding planner for my son's wedding.
