We’re Todd and Madi, a Brooklyn based husband-and-wife photography team. We focus on capturing weddings in a way that feels natural, emotional, and true to the experience. Our approach is relaxed and documentary-driven, with just enough guidance to keep things feeling effortless.

    The best!

    The best photography duo!

    Todd Madi have captured not only our wedding, but also other lifestyle photos for us, so we already knew we wanted them to be part of our day. Leading up to the wedding, they were so communicative and even helped us map out our timeline to make sure we didn’t miss a single moment. Our wedding day ended up being the stormiest day of the year and it rained nonstop, but they were incredibly flexible and reassuring the entire time. Not once did we feel stressed about it. They just rolled with everything and made it work. They went above and beyond to capture it all, from our guests to the little details to our portraits, and somehow made the whole experience feel calm and easy. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and they truly nailed the romantic, modern vibe we were going for. We got our sneak peeks within just a few days and wow. We were so happy with everything. Yes. We work every wedding and packaged session together as two lead photographers—not a lead plus an assistant. Our similar approach and subtle stylistic differences create complementary coverage, more perspectives, and a fuller story without disrupting the day.
Our approach is about 80% observational documentary photography and 20% creative portraiture. We let real moments unfold, step in with calm guidance when needed, and blend digital and 35mm film to create imagery that feels candid, cinematic, and true to how the day felt.
You’ll receive sneak peeks within 2–3 days. Full wedding galleries are delivered in 8–10 weeks, while engagement and other session galleries typically arrive in 1–2 weeks. Your online gallery lets you download, print, share, and order albums.
Absolutely. We’re based in Brooklyn and available wherever you’re celebrating. Travel costs are included as a clear, research-based flat fee in your custom proposal. We may waive or discount travel fees for dates that align with our existing travel schedule or bucket-list destinations.
Our cameras record every image to two memory cards for an immediate backup. Afterward, we store the RAW files on external hard drives in multiple locations. Final high-resolution images are delivered through an online gallery available for one year, and we encourage you to download and back up your files.
Absolutely—most couples tell us this at first. We offer calm, natural direction when it’s helpful and step back when the moment is already unfolding. Our goal isn’t to force poses; it’s to help you feel comfortable, stay present, and receive honest, cinematic images that still feel like you.
Yes. Planning and timeline guidance are included in every wedding collection. We’ll learn what matters most to you, recommend timing for beautiful light, and coordinate with your planner or venue so portraits feel relaxed and photography never takes over the day.
Weddings rarely unfold exactly as planned, and that’s okay. We’ll adapt the locations, lighting, and portrait timing while continuing to document the moments happening around you. Having two lead photographers gives us extra flexibility to cover simultaneous events and keep the experience calm.
