While we’re truly sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations, we’d like to offer clarity so others reading this review have a fair and accurate understanding. From the start, we were transparent that our lead photographer, Chock, would capture the event. You reviewed his portfolio, met both of us in person beforehand, and confirmed you were comfortable moving forward. Despite a busy weekday schedule, we made the effort to meet with you and the couple to ensure alignment. Many of our couples love working with Chock—sometimes even more than with me. His calm presence, artistic eye, and detail-oriented approach consistently produce beautiful work, reflected in years of glowing feedback. The gallery was delivered within the exact timeframe promised, which we communicated openly. Regarding “duplicates,” they aren’t identical shots. We intentionally capture moments from different angles, lighting, and focal lengths, offering variety and choice. While some studios deliver fewer images, we believe in providing more to give couples the fullest narrative of their day. We’re sorry some photos didn’t meet your expectations. We offered the full set of raw images so you could confirm whether any moments were captured but not included—an offer that was declined. To date, we have not received concerns directly from Lexi or Robyn, so we’ve had no fair chance to address their perspective. You also requested the gallery be reordered via a Google Photos album you created. While that’s outside our process, we still tried to help. The link didn’t function correctly due to compatibility issues, but we attempted to replicate your request, included some of your own photos, and asked how we could make it right—again, declined. We always encourage couples to share must-have moments beforehand; none were provided in this case. The tone of the event and guest engagement naturally influence candid moments. You described the photography as “not bad” yet rated us two stars—feedback typically reserved for serious service failures, which doesn’t align with the reality of our communication, delivery, or effort throughout. If this comes across as disrespectful, we sincerely apologize—that is not our intent. We value feedback, but when a review lacks context, comes from a third party, and we’re not contacted to resolve concerns, we feel it’s important to respond. This is not something we’ve experienced before, and it matters to us to speak for the integrity of our work.
