Do yourself a favor and hire them right now
We hired Geraldine for her partial planning package and I can’t say enough positive things about the experience. She is extremely knowledgeable and good at helping you make decisions when you’re unsure. She was very easy to communicate with and was clear with me during the whole process. Everything from day one to wedding day was smooth and easy and so many of our vendors complimented her attention to detail and planning (and they work with a lot of other planners!) Geraldine was always on top of everything and I never once had to worry about any small issue arising because I knew she’d be on it. At the end of the process, you’ll trust her with your life! On top of everything else, she’s a very kind and funny person and a joy to be around, which makes the planning process even better :))) HIRE HER RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!

Working with Velada was an absolute dream. Not only is Geraldine an incredible planner, but she is also just such a joy to be around. Throughout every meeting, Geraldine kept me on track, offered thoughtful advice and helpful tips, and anticipated potential situations so we always felt prepared. During vendor meetings, she brought up questions and details that never would have crossed my mind. She truly understood my vision and communicated and executed it beautifully. In the week leading up to the wedding, Geraldine even helped plan TWO additional events due to unpredictable weather. On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly because Gera was so organized, proactive, and prepared. I genuinely could not have done this without her. Endless thanks to Gera and the entire Velada team for making my dream wedding a reality.

Planner who acts as an honest friend
We were lucky to work with Geraldine for two events--our microwedding then a wedding reception 6 months later. We knew that Geraldine was the perfect coordinator/planner the first call we had with her. She is a perfect mix of personable and organized. When catering forgot our menus at our wedding, she created and printed new ones hours before dinner. For our reception, she helped me with my dress, carried my things while we took pictures, and kept everything running efficiently while we were busy partying and too tipsy to care about a timeline. She's honest, an incredible designer, and will make your events run smoothly. We will miss chatting with her regularly

There is truly no one better!
Gera went above and beyond for us at every.single.turn. Her experience, advice, vision and guidance helped us feel so prepared for our big day. We had a rather logistically challenging, two-day, wedding weekend but thanks to Gera and her team, it was so smooth from start to finish. They brought our vision to life, made sure our family and friends were comfortable and taken care of, and helped block out all the “noise” so that my wife and I could enjoy the weekend and truly be present with each other. She brought care and joy into every room we entered and collaborated so seamlessly with our additional vendors. We were truly lucky to have her! Highly recommend, five stars, no notes!
