Sunfire Films brings a highly creative storytelling experience to your wedding film. Together, we can make some real magic. Every wedding film I create is completely unique. Using narrative and storytelling expertise, we can bring out your individuality for a boutique, fully custom, wedding film.

I am in the film industry outside of weddings. I'll bring technical expertise and a creative flair to your wedding film! If you are interested, we can bring a short film vibe to your wedding, including shooting with a script!

Yes! In fact about half our weddings require travel. We are well versed in the logistics of a destination wedding. There will be no additional travel fees, everything will be part of an all inclusive package to ensure no surprises with price.
There's no right or wrong answer, but in my experience, 6 months is a good amount of time to ensure our availability. Booking 9 months in advance is ideal for our busy months (June & October). That being said, I have open dates occasionally, so feel free to reach out for a last minute inquiry!
Most of my packages have a base price for single videographer package, but even my single shooters use two cameras. With use of a tripod, a skilled camera operator can capture just as much, if not higher quality footage, than a 2nd videographer. My goal is to keep things streamlined and smooth, cutting down on unnecessary costs to you. That being said, a second set of eyes will ensure that absolutely nothing is missed. So if you have a large wedding that comes with an extensive shotlist, a specific and creative vision, or simply feel more comfortable with a crew of two, then I'd be more than happy to bring a second!
Typically, no. My process is about the finest of storytelling craft. That means multiple series of revisions, multiple sets of eyes, not to mention sound correction and a boutique color grade. It's not a process we want to rush. I gently ask for patience, so that we can get the best shots, assembled with the most pleasing flow our creativity can muster.
First of all, if it rains on your wedding, take heart: in my experience, rain adds a truly gorgeous aesthetic. I know you are worried about your hair and your make up and your dress, but I have never shot such beautiful footage as I have in the rain. Although my cinema camera is not weather sealed, there are typically rental options available for a weather sealed camera that can survive the rain. I also have options for a rain fly for the camera, but it will make shooting a little more finessed, and a little less flexibility. Rest assured, rain or shine, we will capture something beautiful.
Yes! You can keep your mind at ease. We have standard business and liability coverage for film and videographers.
I sure do!
I really prefer to go the extra mile for my clients. Many special requests do not come with an upcharge. Charges for requests such as: extra hours, 2nd shooter, longer edit, comes with charges. But if you have a creative idea, or need some special assistance (especially the day of your wedding), I'm not here to penny pinch. In fact, I encourage as many creative ideas and input that you have! The more elaborate, the better, because it makes for a better movie. Whatever you need, we'll figure it out and get it done.
Yes! I started out as a wedding photographer, and I have certainly retained and refined those skills since transitioning into film full time. Because film and video are my focus, photography is available upon special request. And I do have dual photo+video packages available. Just send a note, and I'll get you a quote!
