Hey! We’re Katie & Paul — an adventurous photo + video duo based in New Mexico, capturing elopements and weddings across the Four Corners and beyond. With 17+ years of experience, we specialize in telling love stories in epic, cinematic ways that feel authentic, emotional, and alive. We squeeze the last drops of light, embrace adventure, and create films and photos that take you deep into the moment. When we're not shooting, we’re raising our three amazing kids, exploring new places, and sharing good food with great people. Photography isn’t just our job — it’s our way of life, and we pour our whole hearts into every story we tell.
We’re Katie & Paul — a husband-and-wife photo + film duo known for chasing light, climbing cliffs, and doing whatever it takes to get the shot. For nearly 20 years, we’ve pushed the edges of wedding storytelling to create raw, cinematic, deeply personal films and photos. As conservative Christians, we value marriage, family, and the sacredness of vows, and we see this work as true stewardship. Whether you’re eloping on a mountain or celebrating with your people, we help you feel fully yourselves while capturing your story with intention and wild creativity.

The best decision ever
Shutterfreek was an amazing videography team for our wedding. From the very first interaction, they were honest, open, and direct in their communication, which put us at ease throughout the entire process. Their work was truly extraordinary - they captured all the special moments of our day with great results. They went the extra mile for us, even coming back on a different day when the hot air balloons didn't fly as originally scheduled, so we could get the video shoot of our dreams. Shutterfreek made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, and we are thrilled with the final video that perfectly preserves the joy and love of our wedding day.
