Madeline Jacobus is a San Diego–based wedding photographer known for her warm personality, artistic eye, and ability to capture the moments that make your day truly unforgettable. She specializes in candid storytelling, emotional portraits, and beautifully intentional detail shots that help you relive the magic for years to come. Madeline brings a fun, calming presence to every wedding day, ensuring you feel comfortable, celebrated, and fully yourselves in front of the camera. Her goal is simple: to document your story in a way that feels honest, timeless, and deeply meaningful.
What sets me apart is the fun, encouraging energy I bring and the genuine connection I build with every couple. I go above and beyond to support my brides, keep the day running smoothly, and capture candid moments filled with emotion. I intentionally take only 1–2 weddings per month to give each couple my full attention, offer a fast turnaround, and deliver both digital and film images that feel timeless, artistic, and truly magical. Highly recommend working with Madeline!!
Madeline was an absolute pleasure to work with for our engagement session. From the start, she was warm, professional, and incredibly easy to be around, which made us feel genuinely comfortable in front of the camera. She guided us through poses with ease while still allowing everything to feel natural. The final images were phenomenal, beautifully composed, flattering, and full of personality. We are so excited to work with her again on our wedding day and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in San Diego.
