“La Jolla Cove Rooftop is a gorgeous venue with some of the best views in San Diego, but the photos can show you that. What isn’t immediately known, but becomes obvious, is how great of a venue it is because of the people who work there. My husband and I booked our wedding at La Jolla Cove Rooftop over two years in advance from our wedding day. We spent that time fully customizing our day, including DIYing most of our decor. We were able to access the venue at any time we wanted, whether to check measurements or show it off to family visiting from out of town. They took care of all the bigger vendors (bakery, florist, DJ) so we could focus on the details that mattered to us. Even then, their hand selected vendors were fully customizable to us and brought our vision to life. Bree was the coordinator we met with throughout the process, and she was always so warm and so enthusiastic about our vision. She had many couples of her own, but when we showed up for rehearsal day, Bree still remembered us, gave us a big hug and was ecstatic about our day. Robert was our coordinator for the last meeting, rehearsal and wedding day. We couldn’t have had such a beautiful day without him. Immediately, Robert understood who we were as a couple and was extremely keyed in to all the little things we had worked on the last 2 years. We felt extremely comfortable putting our vision in his hands, and he became a very trusted partner quickly. When it became clear that we would have to move to a rain contingency plan, changing the vision of our wedding day we had for years, Robert was available to us to answer questions, quickly come up with a plan and comfort us through the anxiety of changing everything at the last minute. On wedding day, when the rain got the best of me, Robert was the one to give me a hug and let me process my emotions before our ceremony. The day was absolutely perfect thanks to Robert and team. All of our guests have told us what a great experience they had, and that they even liked being under the pavilion all together more because it gave the wedding an intimate feel. Even with the quick changes, all the important details were included and executed well. Our parents felt cared for by Robert during the whole process as well, he went out of his way to ensure their needs were attended to and they felt important. When Robert left for the night, Esteban and the rest of the team stepped in to take great care of us. Esteban even kindly helped me put my (very rain soaked) dress into a trash bag once the dance floor started so I could change into something more comfortable. At the end of the night, they had no problem kicking out our guests so we could have a private last dance. Shout out to everyone at La Jolla Cove Rooftop for making our wedding day exceptional, even with the weather throwing a wrench into the plans. We will never forget the kindness, warmth and love shown to us on the most important day of our lives. “Our wedding was absolutely incredible, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience from start to finish. Every single detail was thoughtfully executed, and the entire team made us feel so cared for throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. We also have to recognize Brynn, our banquet captain, who ensured everything flowed perfectly behind the scenes. Their professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. The entertainment was unforgettable thanks to DJ Maestro. Mik absolutely understood the vibe we wanted and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all night long. The addition of the cellist during our ceremony was stunning and made the entire experience feel so elegant and memorable. The florists completely exceeded our expectations. They created the most breathtaking floral arrangements, including a gorgeous flower chandelier that truly became a centerpiece of the room. The creativity and craftsmanship were beyond anything we could have imagined. Our cake from Violet Cakes was both a work of art and incredibly delicious. Malissa designed the most beautiful three-tier cake adorned with fresh flowers, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing it tasted. Finally, we have to give the biggest shoutout to Nico and Paul from True Photography. They were an absolute dream team. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, were endlessly patient, and worked together so seamlessly that it was obvious how talented they are. We honestly can't wait to see our photos because watching them work gave us so much confidence that they're going to be spectacular. For half of what we would be paying at any other venue, I feel that we received top-notch service, aesthetics that matched who we are as a couple, thoughtful coordination, and worry-free execution. Our coordinator, Brianna, went above and beyond to give us the wedding of our dreams. We loved our DJ, Noah (with DJ Maestro), who was coordinated through the venue. It was a seamless experience that I genuinely feel saved us a ton of money and gave us MORE value than a traditional venue.”

“The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.”

The space itself is gorgeous and had exactly the intimate feel we wanted for our celebration. Camille didn't just provide the venue, she officiated our ceremony and organized every detail so we could actually enjoy our day instead of stressing about logistics. We felt taken care of the whole time, and our wedding turned out to be everything we dreamed it would be. We rented the golf simulators for the larger group event which was a total hit with our guests! The staff delivered excellent service throughout the night, and the food was genuinely great. “We loved our wedding at the Flower Fields! The venue comes with a day-of coordinator who is very helpful and makes sure everything goes smoothly. We had our wedding end of June, so the flower fields flowers were not in bloom, but the grounds still had a lot of other flowers and greenery that made the setting truly lovely. Plus, the barn and stage area are decorated with string lights that look great, so you really do not need to add many decorations. We are so happy we did our wedding there!”

Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort and Spa

“We got married at Cape Rey Carlsbad in May 2026 and it was the best decision we made. From the very first visit in April 2025, we couldn't stop thinking about how gorgeous the venue was. Not only was it extremely spacious to host 140 guests, the Ocean view is spectacular plus it was very close to our ceremony site. Just steps away from the beach, it was a no brainer for us to take our newlywed photos there. Each part of our reception had a unique space. Our cocktail hour was hosted on the grassy patio, dinner was out on the terrace to enjoy the sunset, and dancing was inside the ballroom. We even had space to set up more fun activities and bars for our guests in the foyer between the ballroom and the terrace! There was plenty of space for our guests to roam around. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful beach setting and the food! Not only is the food portions generous in size but it is so delicious. The head chef knows what he is doing. We had quite a few of out of town guests and most stayed on property. It was convenient and everyone felt well accommodated. Having the room block there was a great choice. Our suite was comfortable and we felt welcomed! What really made the day unforgettable was the team. 4 months before the wedding, there was a change in Sales Manager. We had a good relationship with the previous Sales Manager and were nervous. Cape Rey managed the transition well and the new Sales Manager, Mikayla Leversen, hit the ground running She went above and beyond, making sure everything ran smoothly. From the planning process to the last dance, the staff was extremely professional, kind, and attentive. We loved everything about Cape Rey and can't wait to come back for our anniversaries!”

“We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at LCR in August 2025. The venue was absolutely stunning, and our experience with the staff at LCR/Personal Touch Dining was very positive. Very organized staff who provided prompt responses to our questions or concerns, and always up front about costs. Our day-of coordinator was excellent! The day ran smoothly, vendors coordinated without difficulty, and we felt to be in very capable hands. We did a buffet-style for our reception dinner, and the food was much better at our event compared to the tasting that we did prior to the event. Overall would highly recommend to all brides and grooms around.”
