We started off as a duo of quirky plastic artists who wanted to try something new - capturing weddings in a unique way that combined truthfulness and creativity. Fast forward 15 years and many, many amazing weddings later, and we're still just as nervous and excited before each event as we were on day one. I guess it means we still care! We believe your wedding photos should be a true reflection of your special day - capturing all the laughter, tears, love and joy in a way that takes you back to that exact moment. Making you relive the excitement, nervousness, happiness and warm fuzzy feelings of your wedding day.

    Black Hat Studio captured the emotions at our wedding phenomenally! We had a simple wedding in Riviera Maya with a last minute venue change because of a storm and the team calmly rolled with the punches and made the most of the changes. We were worried all the changes would reflect poorly in our photos and videos, but they turned out wonderfully and we've not tire of flipping through them! A wonderful group that we would book again in a heartbeat!

    We were visiting Mexico as part of our baby Moon and reached out to do a maternity shoot and I have zero regrets! The photographer was wonderful in the photos turned out better than I could’ve ever imagined

    Eduardo from Black Hat studio is the most fun photographer to work with! He is always in good mood, ready to make you laugh and make you feel comfortable and confident in front of a camera. I love that his style is so natural, he hates poses, he prefers to capture the natural expressions of the people, he plays with the lighting, he is amazing! You can no go wrong with Black Hat Studio!

    We were completely satisfied with BlackHat, definitely it was the best decision ever. We loved his work throughout our wedding day, and he has a cool vibe and got beautiful shots. We have the best memories of our wedding thanks to him, and now we have continued working with him at both our kids baptisms.
