Hiii! I'm Heather Schoolcraft - owner & CEO! I'm a small town gal from WV who LOVES traveling and pops of color. I've designed my entire company around creating authentic + magical love stories. I have an associate team specifically trained to go and take on more couples! The only thing that's different on your wedding day is you see a different face! On your wedding day, our goal is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and to focus on the raw + real moments on your day. Don't settle for less because you have to. Let ME help you get the photos + video that you've always dreamed of.

I center all of my photography and videography around real + candid moments. I believe that ALL love stories deserve to be showcased in a way that tells the authentic + real love story of my couples. I work with my couples throughout this entire process on possible vendor options, engagement session outfits, timelines, + even FaceTime dates to see dresses if needed! I don't want to just be a vendor, I want to be your FRIEND. This process can be crazy, so you're gonna need a friend to vent to - and I'm HERE FOR IT :) all the laughs, crazy stories, and tears - bring it on!!

    From the moment we first messaged Heather to inquire about a wedding photographer, she embraced us with a warm welcome! As a LGBTQ couple it is a little nerve wracking to message vendors and they deny you because of “their beliefs”, we never had to worry about that with Heather and her team! From our engagement session, to meetings all the way up to the end of our wedding day, Heather and her team gave us many laughs, memories and shed a few tears with us. We had the opportunity to work with Heather for our engagement session - which was absolutely incredible. She made sure we were comfortable and as for a couple who never has gotten professional pictures done, by the end of the session it felt like we were just friends hanging out! Heather constantly reached out and made sure we did not need anything through our wedding planning and anytime we needed a quick vendor recommendation, finding some decorations or even someone to vent, she was right there through it all. On our wedding day, we worked with Bri! From the moment she pulled up to the venue, she was very sweet and accommodating - it was a crazy day and I felt at ease as she took care of things and dealt with my bridal party who are like puppies and cannot stand still for one moment! She made us feel very comfortable and was so easy to work with and we had the best time with her. If there’s anyone who is on the edge about booking with Heather Christine Photo, let this be a sign to book and we can promise you - you will have the easiest, laid back, helpful, supportive photography/videography crew you could ever have!

    You know when you meet someone and it feels like you've been friends forever? That's Heather for you! Heather is fun, kind, warm, and will be your ultimate hype girl! Aside from being an awesome human, Heather is a talented photographer. Don't know how to pose and feel super awkward in front of a camera like me? No worries, Heather's got you! She'll direct you on how to stand, how to put your hands, how your face should look, give you hot tips... all of it! She also has a sharp eye for beautiful landscapes. You're in good hands and will have cute photos, I promise. In addition to Heather, we were lucky enough to work with her videographer, Andrew, and another shooter from her team. The entire HCP team was so fun to work with you and will put you right at ease. I've gotten to do 3 shoots with Heather to date and am incredibly pleased with how our photos have come out. In fact, I haven't even gotten the final album for our wedding yet (just previews) and i'm STILL impressed! If you have the opportunity to work with this team, take it. I couldn't recommend them enough.

    Heather and her team are literally amazing. She helped me in so many ways. She’s not just your photographer, she’s everything you could need before and during your wedding. Heather is a lifetime friend for me now and I couldn’t be more honored to have her capture our day. She goes above and beyond to help you, whether it’s her guides that she has made herself or even just a little text asking if you need anything. Even on the day of, she’s right there if you need her. She is SO fun and I just can’t say enough things about her
