Save Yourself the Heartache—Hire Someone Else
I typically don’t write reviews, but I would be amiss if I didn’t try to save at least one couple. RUN — don’t walk — away from this business. Despite multiple documented discussions, written timelines, and clear expectations, Karla failed to carry out several critical responsibilities on our wedding day—many of which she had previously acknowledged and agreed to. It was clear that she was not in her lane. Her lack of preparation, delayed communication, and incorrect execution of assigned tasks caused avoidable confusion, disrupted cultural elements of our ceremony, and created stress during moments that should have been seamless. Here is what you can expect: • Karla will not proactively ask questions or take the lead on handling your event. • Karla will not follow your run‑of‑show. • Karla will not ensure that your list of “must‑haves” happens. • Karla will not follow simple instructions. • Karla will not inform you if she doesn’t understand something. What Karla will do is accept tasks, fail to follow through, and then claim that key duties were “outside the contract.” Couples deserve transparency, reliability, and professionalism from a coordinator—none of which we experienced. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who demonstrates genuine care, competence, and follow‑through. It's not worth the risk.

I take every client’s experience seriously, and I’m disappointed to see several statements in this review presented as fact when they do not accurately reflect my understanding of the services provided, our agreement, or the circumstances of the wedding day. Our services and responsibilities were clearly outlined in the contract, and expectations were discussed in advance. While I’m sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, I cannot agree with the characterization that I simply accepted responsibilities, failed to follow through, or disregarded agreed-upon instructions. There are also important details and context behind the claims made in this review that cannot reasonably be addressed in a public forum without compromising client privacy. For that reason, I will not debate the specifics of the wedding day here. I remain committed to conducting my business with professionalism, clear communication, transparency, and respect for every couple I serve. I welcome constructive feedback and continuously use it to evaluate and improve my processes, but I also believe it is important that public reviews accurately represent the services that were contracted and the circumstances surrounding them. When my team faced an unexpected challenge on ceremony day, they stepped in without hesitation and provided a step ladder (as their ceremony installation was unexpectedly much taller than we’d been told), handling it graciously so the florals were installed perfectly. Their intentional approach to planning and genuine dedication to the couples they work with really sets them apart. I've collaborated with plenty of planners over the years, and they consistently deliver both professionalism and kindness.
