Alex Faye Media is here for the real version of your day. I’m a Raleigh-based photographer documenting weddings, engagements, and proposals with all the emotion, weird little moments, pretty details, and people-you-love chaos left intact. I’m not here to make your day feel overly staged or cleaned up for the internet. I’m here to photograph what actually happened and make it feel like art. My goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable, let the day breathe, and give you photos that feel like proof of how it all actually felt.

I don’t believe in cookie-cutter weddings or stiff posing. I bring an easygoing, cinematic approach that lets your day unfold naturally while I capture the real emotions behind it. With experience in both visual storytelling and planning, I make the entire process seamless. My couples always say I feel more like a friend with a camera than a vendor, and that’s exactly the vibe I want.

    engagement shoot

    Alex was great we were comfortable the entire time and alex was willing to try different things to get the shot. it wasn’t awkward at all and we really enjoyed the experience

    Amazing!!

    Cute Family photoshoot

    We’ve worked with Alex twice now — once for our cozy Christmas-themed shoot when our baby was 9 months old, and again this summer at the beautiful historic Oak Mill when she turned 15 months. Both times, she went above and beyond to capture the most precious moments. She is incredibly patient, warm, and truly wonderful with little ones. She never rushed us, made us feel completely comfortable, and somehow managed to get the best candid shots even when our baby was wiggly and curious. The photos turned out absolutely stunning each time. We’re so grateful for her dedication and the love she puts into her work. Highly, highly recommend her if you want someone who genuinely cares and delivers beautiful, timeless memories.

Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and the non-refundable retainer is paid. Until both are completed, the date remains available for other couples.
A second photographer is included with The Signature and The Complete Story collections. Having a second photographer gives us more coverage throughout the day, especially during moments happening in different places at the same time. I do not send associates for photography, but I do have a team of trusted videographers.
Wedding galleries are delivered within approximately 3 weeks, with a sneak peek delivered within 48–72 hours depending on your package. Wedding films are typically delivered within 8–12 weeks.
Yes! Every collection can be booked as photography-only, videography-only, or bundled together. The photo + video collections are priced at a reduced bundle rate compared with booking each service separately.
Engagement sessions are included with The Intimate, The Signature, and The Complete Story collections. They’re a great chance for us to work together before the wedding, get you comfortable in front of the camera, and create photos that feel a little more relaxed than the wedding day itself.
Absolutely. Social media and portfolio pages only show a small selection of images, so I’m happy to share full wedding galleries. You can view everything at www.alexfaye.gallery.
My approach is a mix of candid storytelling and guided portraits. I’ll step in when you need direction, but I’m also paying attention to the smaller moments happening naturally throughout the day.
I have contingency plans in place for emergencies and a network of other professional photographers I can reach out to if something truly unexpected happens. Your contract also outlines what happens in the event I’m unable to photograph your wedding.
Your final images are delivered through an online gallery, and all professional prints, wall art, and albums are ordered directly through my print store. This helps ensure that anything you print is produced with the color, quality, and materials the images were edited for. You are welcome to share images across any platform, without any additional editing outside of simple cropping.
