Xtreme Party Band, also known as Deep Velvet Band, is an Atlanta-based high-energy live party, wedding, and corporate event band built to move the crowd. Our dynamic 6-piece features powerhouse female and male vocals, keys, drums, bass, and guitar, with optional horns and additional vocalists for an even bigger sound. Our diverse repertoire spans Motown, Beach Music, 70s–90s, Pop, Classic Rock, R&B, Blues, and today’s hits. With big-stage experience and musicians connected to artists including Gladys Knight, Keith Sweat, and Otis Redding’s musical legacy, we bring professional musicianship, nonstop energy, and unforgettable entertainment to every event.

From the planning stages through the end of the reception, Morris provided clear guidance and solutions for every question, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. The Xtreme Party Band exceeded all expectations in both musicianship and professionalism. The band members were gracious, courteous, and exceptionally talented, delivering one of the finest performances we have experienced in many years. They flawlessly performed our three requested BG, FD, and MS songs, adding a personal touch that meant a great deal to us. Their communication throughout the planning process was timely, professional, and engaging, putting us at ease every step of the way. The quality of their work was truly exemplary - they played an exciting, interactive set that kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. We love to deep dive into our Brides/Grooms vision to collectively make their dreams a reality beyond their imagination.
We try to eliminate a lot of request upfront by asking the B/G for comprehensive play list and a do not play list during our pre-planning stage. Of course we can't cover every scenario, we will take on a request and play it if we know it. We like to be tight and professional at all times.
Yes we do. Ceremony music will be via an IPOD. The Cocktail Hour music can be either IPOD or a live 3/4 piece band. If the Cocktail Hour is located in the same area as the Reception, the whole band will perform
