Phenomenal band
We hired Emerald Empire Band for our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible. We had an eight piece band, and they brought such a high level of energy, talent, and professionalism from start to finish. They were extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process, from booking to the wedding day, which made everything seamless and stress-free. On the night of the wedding, they completely exceeded our expectations. The dance floor was packed all night, and they created such a fun, interactive atmosphere for our guests. We received so many compliments about how amazing the band was. They truly know how to read the room and keep the energy up. If you’re looking for a top-tier wedding band or party band, I highly recommend Emerald Empire Band. They were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Incredible wedding band
Emerald Empire Band was one of the highlights of our wedding and truly made the reception. David was fantastic to work with and really helped bring our vision for the music and overall atmosphere to life. The band was incredibly talented, the dance floor was packed all night, and the energy in the room was amazing. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding band they had ever seen. We are so glad we chose Emerald Empire and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Would absolutely hire again
Cole and Emerald Empire band were so easy to work with. Planning was easy - Cole was available whenever we needed to ask a question and easy to coordinate zoom meetings with. He assured me the and would play the songs we selected live for first dances and even helped save us money - making sure we were only using what we needed. The most important part though - was the night of. Our reception was amazing! The band had flawless transitions between songs, managed their creative authority to pull together a play list that catered and kept all ages on the dance floor. I worried about possibly being too loud in a small space, but shared that concern with Cole and never once worried again. Several of our guests have raved about the band and also commented on how appropriate the volume was. Thank you again emerald Empire Band and Cole for being easy to work with and creating the perfect environment for our reception. If I were planning to get married again (maybe vow renewal down the rd??) you’d definitely be the first people I’d call.

Amazing Event Band
Emerald Empire Band was an absolute delight to work with for our event. Their communication was easy, professional, and fun from start to finish. They were a great and fun band that kept everyone dancing all night long with their fantastic funk and Motown vibe. The band brought the house down and were a true highlight of our special day. They were so kind and timely, making the entire process a breeze. We couldn't have asked for a better band to celebrate our wedding with - they were a true joy to have there.

Disappointing
We hired Emerald Empire Band to perform at our wedding, and unfortunately they did not live up to our expectations. Leading up to the event, their communication was strong and positive. They had an organized online portal and were responsive to our texts and calls, which initially made us feel confident in our choice. However, the quality of the performance on the wedding day was very disappointing. Our wedding was held at a very high-end venue with a glamorous atmosphere, and the band’s performance simply did not match the level or vibe of the event. In hindsight, hiring this band is the decision I regret most from our wedding day. I was outright embarrassed by the performance. Several songs that were played were not aligned with what we had discussed prior to the wedding, and the overall energy level throughout the reception was extremely low. Many of our guests commented that the music was not danceable, and the dance floor never filled up. When I envisioned my wedding, I wanted a fun dance party, which unfortunately never happened. The lead singer in particular seemed to lack enthusiasm, which further contributed to the subdued atmosphere. The band performed for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but we unfortunately received a lot of negative feedback from guests about the reception music and overall energy of the performance. The ceremony music was okay (despite them playing the cringeworthy song “a thousand years” from the twilight movie) and the cocktail hour was good. Emerald Empire Band did not come close to delivering the lively, energetic experience we had envisioned for such an important day.

We’re sorry to hear that the reception did not feel as energetic as you had hoped. Our team always aims to create a fun and engaging atmosphere while also honoring each couple’s musical preferences and requests. While our standard guarantee is that the band will learn three special requests per event, we always try to go above and beyond. During your reception, 19 of the 44 songs the band performed were pulled directly from your request list. I'm truly sorry if this was not satisfactory to your expectations. Our musicians put a great deal of care into preparing for each event, including reviewing the planning materials and song selections provided in advance. For example, “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri was included as the bridal party selection and confirmed during our final planning call prior to the wedding. Your feedback is important to us, and we will share it with our team as we continue working to provide the best possible experience for our couples.
