World Class DJTY loves the challenge of “rocking any crowd” and specializes in old-school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, rock and top 40. With over 15 years in experience, his accomplishments include hosting events for companies like Monster Energy drink and Nuvo. With the greatest of these accomplishments, World Class DJTY continues to show his support for community ventures by volunteering and advocating for organizations such as the: National Down Syndrome Network, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Governor Morehead School of the Blind and the Durham County Public Schools.
World Class DJTY started his own company named RocThaSpot Events, which serves the Virginia, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro-Triad Area. This world class business venture offers a variety of services such as: wedding and corporate event planning, graphic designs, photography, event DJ's and premiere sound system rentals. RocThaSpot Events has something to fit everyone’s need. The company’s motto is “There are no events too big or small, we Roc them all"

A Time Was Had From Our Wedding
We’re so grateful to RocThaSpot Events for making our wedding day unforgettable! Ty was amazing to work with, friendly, professional, and so in tune with what we wanted. He created a playlist that kept our guests dancing all night (our feet are still recovering!). Ty’s energy was everything we hoped for, and he truly helped set the tone for the best night of our lives. Thank you, Ty, for making our big day so special and full of joy! We couldn’t have had a better DJ for our wedding!!
The best DJ for our Back to School Bash
RocThaSpot Events was an absolute pleasure to work with for our Back to School Bash. DJ Ty arrived early and was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire event. He played music that not only resonated with all our guests, from the youngest to the oldest, but brought us all together as he even got our executive director to learn a new dance move! Ty's commitment to giving back to the community is evident in his work, as he also donated supplies to our back-to-school bash for local families experiencing homelessness. I would highly recommend RocThaSpot Events for any couple or business looking for a talented and engaged DJ for their event! Thank you Ty for everything!
Dancing on the clouds
From our very first meeting with RocThaSpot Events, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication throughout the planning process was proactive, detail-oriented and incredibly effective. On the day of our wedding, they exceeded all of our expectations - it was a true one-stop shop with them running the photo booth, special effects like cold sparklers and clouds on the dance floor. Not only did they keep our guests engaged and the party going all night, but we felt like family from start to finish. The quality of their work and professionalism was nothing short of excellence. All of our guests are still raving about the incredible experience RocThaSpot Events provided on our special day.
A Time Was Most Certainly Had
RocThaSpot Events provided unmatched service for my son's wedding and reception. From the very beginning, Ty had clear, open and great communication with my son and daughter-in-law, working closely with them to create a playlist that kept the guests on the dance floor until the very end. On the day of, Ty arrived early and brought an incredible energy, keeping everyone dancing from the moment the reception started until the their special last dance. I will say my feet and legs still hurt from all the dancing, but it was definitely worth it. Ty really made the whole process wonderful and we couldn't be happier with the value and quality of RocThaSpot Events' work. Thank you for making my son's day one to remember.
