World Class DJTY loves the challenge of “rocking any crowd” and specializes in old-school hip-hop, R&B, reggae, rock and top 40. With over 15 years in experience, his accomplishments include hosting events for companies like Monster Energy drink and Nuvo. With the greatest of these accomplishments, World Class DJTY continues to show his support for community ventures by volunteering and advocating for organizations such as the: National Down Syndrome Network, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Governor Morehead School of the Blind and the Durham County Public Schools.
World Class DJTY started his own company named RocThaSpot Events, which serves the Virginia, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro-Triad Area. This world class business venture offers a variety of services such as: wedding and corporate event planning, graphic designs, photography, event DJ's and premiere sound system rentals. RocThaSpot Events has something to fit everyone’s need. The company’s motto is “There are no events too big or small, we Roc them all"

Exceptional service. Ty turned my wedding into a party. We were highly impressed. He engaged the crowd from start to finish. The venue staff highly recommended him and I am so glad I booked him. Absolutely Amazing!
The music, the vibe, and all of the time/energy poured into making our event a complete success was absolutely amazing! The DJ is very professional, experienced with the best equipment/sound; and is quite skillful in creating musical memories that kept us all well entertained. We danced, we laughed, danced some more; and a good time was certainly had by all!

Babyshower Review
I just want to give DJ Ty a huge shoutout for making my baby shower the best one I’ve ever had! Everyone had such an amazing time. He played great music, kept the energy up, and had everybody dancing. We played games, and he even helped host the baby shower games too. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking to have a great time with their loved ones!

From our first conversation with DJ Ty at RocThaSpot Events, we knew we had found the right DJ for our wedding! Ty was responsive and easy to work with throughout the planning process, answering all our questions clearly and professionally. On the big day, he read the crowd perfectly and kept our guests engaged and dancing the entire night. His MC skills were sharp, and they brought so much energy and fun to the reception. We were impressed with how seamlessly everything ran, and honestly, we'd book him again in a heartbeat for future events!
