Mixology was started in 2017 when owner, Roman Brown, saw a need for more entertaining and energetic wedding DJ's in the Carolinas after moving from New York. Their goal is to help make your wedding night as special and fun as you'd imagined it would be.

Most couples get married in their 20's-30's yet most wedding DJ's are much older than that. Our aim was to gather a group of young, talented and energetic DJ's who would be a better match all around for most couples getting married. People usually hire us because we actually mix music and provide a fun, club-like wedding experience while still keeping the professionalism needed to make the night run smoothly.

“10 more songs, 10 more songs” the guest chanted because they didn’t want the night to end! Seriously the most seamless process - between the accessible app to use to download your playlist, the quick communication, & everything beginning to end was top tier!!! One thing I didn’t have to stress about, I knew our music would be in good hands! Mikey was a pleasure to work with, his expertise and experience was 10/10!! He kept the dance floor going with the best music EVER! We had many professional athletes at our wedding that were LOVING the dance floor! It was fun seeing different sides of our guests, enjoying the dance floor, with all of the amazing music. The sound system was also great!!! We got many compliments on how great everything sounded! We also did the photobooth add on and that was perfection!! So many great memories were made and photos were shared! Thank you Mikey for making our night so special & for keeping the dance floor HYPE

We couldn’t be happier with DJ Mikey! From start to finish, he was punctual, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. He worked seamlessly with our vendor team and coordinator so there was zero hassle on us, and everything flowed effortlessly throughout the day. His attention to detail was outstanding—he had the perfect music to keep the dance floor alive from start to finish, and he knew exactly when to play the right songs at the right moments. As an MC, he was confident, clear, and fun, reading the room perfectly and keeping the entire night energized. On top of all that, DJ Mikey was incredibly outgoing, personable, and genuinely invested in making our night unforgettable. We’ve had so many guests rave about how amazing he was—and we couldn’t agree more. Highly recommend DJ Mikey to anyone looking for a DJ who truly knows how to elevate a celebration!

Mixology was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment! From the very first call, their communication was fast, quick, and easy. DJ Roman, our bilingual DJ, kept the party going all night with his incredible energy. The photo booth they provided was an amazing bonus that all our guests loved - it was so much fun and really added to the enjoyment of our special day. Mixology delivered an amazing value and exceeded our expectations with their fun, amazing, and thoroughly enjoyable services. Mikey with Mixology was the absolute best DJ we could’ve asked for! He and Roman were so easy to work with, and their client portal made choosing songs a breeze. From the ceremony music to the dance-floor hits, everything flowed perfectly. We can’t recommend Mixology enough if you want your wedding to feel like the party of your dreams!
