Q: How early do you come to set up?

1.5-2 hours ahead of time to give me plenty of time to get set up.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

I only charge a travel fee is you are more than 2 hours away and it depends upon the distance and if I need to book a motel. No set up or break down fee.

Q: Do you take music requests?

I have a planning form where you give 10 must play requests and 10 play if possible songs as well as a "do not play list". Day of requests are distracting and can clear a dance floor and my number one goal for you wedding is to ensure that you have an amazing wedding and keep the party going and that is where my years of DJ experience come in. :)

My style is to make sure your day is amazing from start to finish! Each wedding is different and I work with you to help make your day special and focused on your style.

Professional DJ lighting and a wireless mic are included in booking with me!

I'm a DJ and buy new music daily to add to my already amazing music collection. I have remixes that are straight fire, music from many genres, and all the dance floor fillers!

I have a lot of global music and music of many genres! I have a huge selection of music since I DJ clubs, festivals, corporate events and private events as well as weddings. In the global music arena I have a lot of Bhangra and Bollywood remixed, Reggaeton, Salsa, African, Afro-Latin house, Bass music, Electro-swing, EDM, as well as what you would want at a wedding.

Stephen is our DJ and he has an infectious energy and knows how to keep a dance floor filled with dancing bodies! Stephen has DJ'd tons of weddings, clubs, festivals, corporate events, and even opened for T-Pain. Stephen is an award winning DJ that cares about his clients and it shows!

Stephen buys his music which means that there will be no drop-outs, download failures, or commercials while preserving the highest sound quality. Stephen also brings a back-up computer and hard drive with all the playlists as well as a back-up controller so you can rest easy that he has you covered for your big day. Stephen also knows how to read the dance floor, beat match, and plays amazing music! Making your wedding perfect is our goal every time.

Amazing DJ
Hiring our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made, and for totally different reasons than we expected. Beyond just playing great music, he was incredibly organized and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He helped us think through our timeline, offered suggestions we hadn’t even considered, and made sure everything flowed smoothly without us having to stress. Communication was excellent from day one-clear planning, easy to talk to, and he really listened to what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, he was punctual, professional, and completely self-sufficient. We didn’t have to worry about setup, announcements, or coordinating with other vendors—he handled it all effortlessly. It honestly felt like having an extra coordinator who also happened to keep the music exactly where we wanted it all night. If you want someone dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making your wedding run smoothly behind the scenes, he’s an easy recommendation.

Steven was truly a 1000/10 DJ. He truly knows his art, and set a new standard for me. He brought liveliness to the dance floor and knew exactly how to get people to dance. He was incredibly easy to communicate with, and very streamlined with the music picking/planning process. He made the announcements bubbly, while being straightforward - the perfect mix for guests. He also got some amazing videos of my husband and I dancing that have become very cherished. All around he kept the party going and vibes up. Steven truly knows weddings, how to get people to dance, and how to DJ. I cannot say enough good things about this awesome man.

Excellent!
My husband and I got married this December and Stephen at StarTime was fantastic. He was so flexible when we changed our plans several times due to other conflicts, he was always willing to call on the phone to plan some thing or offer suggestions and communicate, he worked great with our planner to execute such a fun event (As a dance party was top priority for me! ), And even pulled off such a sweet surprise for me as the bride that My Husband had planned with our family and the DJ. Cannot say enough great things about Stephen!

Startime Productions was an amazing choice for our wedding entertainment. Our communication was mostly via email and phone calls, and they were extremely responsive and professional throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, they provided high-quality music for both our ceremony and reception, and they really knew how to read the room and keep the energy going. We were on the dance floor all night as he tried to get the crowd going and maintain a fun, upbeat vibe. Startime Productions offered incredible value for the quality of service they provided, and we would highly recommend them to any couple looking for outstanding wedding DJs.

Would recommend!
Stephen was easy and enjoyable to work with from the beginning, and even helped us plan our timeline to help the wedding flow smoothly. When the timeline inevitably did not go as planned, he was able to roll with the changes and keep things moving along. He played the genres of music we requested, and our guests said they were able to hear our vows which was super important to us. Would definitely recommend!
