    Hire Ali!!

    From the moment we first reached out to Ali, her communication was clear and friendly. The day itself was so so hot and miserable, but by our photos, you couldn’t even tell. Ali was organized and unafraid to gently guide us and our wedding party to ensure everything stayed on schedule. We received our sneak peeks last week and are so happy with how they turned out. Ali’s professionalism and passion made them a true pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend Moss & Elder to any couple!!

    Lavandula Studios Wedding Photos

    Ali is the best! If you want someone who will be by your side, helping you through the day of AND capturing beautiful memories- she is your girl! She was organized day of and made us feel so comfortable. We got married in January and she made sure I was staying warm throughout photos, brought boots to me, etc. She truly goes above and beyond. Not to mention the pictures are lovely- a perfect blend of posed and candid moments, capturing the details and highlights of the day. She doesn't skimp on photos, offering a breadth of sneak peaks and a large gallery.

    Lavandula Studios - Fantastic Experience

    Ali is amazing! She photographed our wedding in early September and was a pleasure to work with through the whole process from initial meeting to finalizing details, and finally, Wedding Day! She is so professional and kind. She made us feel at ease, kept us on schedule, and helped facilitate some truly beautiful moments. Our sneaks are better than I could have ever imagined. I was looking for a photographer who maintains real color in their photos and Ali knocked it out of the park. I recommend Ali to anyone seeking a photographer!

    Ali was our photographer for our wedding on August 24th. We absolutely loved her and loved our photos! She was so helpful the entire day, hyping us up while taking our photos, making sure we had water, helping us pose, you name it! We got our sneak peeks back and they are STUNNING! Wedding galleries typically take 8-12 weeks, espcially during busy season (June- November) to ensure you get the absolute best images from your day! But you will receive sneak peeks 48hrs after your wedding day!
I’ve never canceled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement! But myself or a family member would have to be dying for me to ever cancel a wedding!
100%! All images are handpicked by me and edited to be vibrant and true to color! You picked your wedding colors for a reason and they deserve to be showcased in true-to-life coloring!
Not at this time but I do know plenty of videographers that would be a great fit for you!
You can expect about 50 to 80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
All of my packages come with a second shooter! So you have double the coverage your whole day!
Typically, couples book me about 13-24 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
We Chat! I prefer to schedule a call either by phone or zoom to get to know each other a bit before we move forward in the process. I love it when you ask a lot of questions so make sure you bring them to your consultation! During this call, we discuss your vision, your wants and needs out of your photography, what's most important to you out of your day, and most importantly how you both met! I also tell you about myself so you get a feel for the person capturing your wedding day! You can't get this day back so it's so important we connect on the same level!
After our call, I send you a proposal based on your needs and the options discussed during our chat! Then I wait! I give you some time to consider your options as this is a major purchase. You MUST be comfortable with whoever is behind the camera and 100% sure who you want capturing your wedding day. Otherwise, you could get back photos you don't 100% love and nobody wants that! You only get awkward photos if you feel awkward with the person behind the camera.
You decided to move forward! That's amazing and I'm so excited to be working with you! Now that we're a team we schedule your engagement session to help you get even more comfortable with me and in front of the camera. We work on your timeline and other vendors if you need help finding them! I'm here to help your wedding day be as smooth as possible because it can be very overwhelming if you don't know where else to start! We set up 2 consultation calls to go over everything. First about 6 months before your wedding date and the second about 6 weeks before for finalizations to your timeline! Finally lets create some magic!
Back up back up back up! I shoot with dual slots for my sd cards on my camera so every time I click they write to two cards! which are always bought brand new for each wedding. Then as soon as I arrive home they are backed up to an external hard drive and stay on the original cards until your images are delivered via your online gallery!
My biggest goal and passion is to make sure you look back on your gallery and remember all those special moments between the two of you that make you as a couple so unique. It's an honor and a privilege to be a part of your day and that reflects into your gallery. I'm a photographer who understands that this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment for the two of you and I do everything I can to make sure you have something worthwhile and memorable to look back on! I shoot very candidly and documentry but do offer direction if needed. Prompts and mom jokes to get you laughing. Works every time if you feel stuck!
