Hey there! I'm Laurissa but I go by Ris for short. I am someone who has always had a passion for photography both in front and behind the lens. Since a young age I have always had a passion for capturing those real moments that are such a big part of our lives. I always have my camera close by for the unique experiences that are to beautiful for words to describe. Once in high school and college I realized how much photography was impacting my life for the better. Since then I have dove head first into my passion as to capture all of your special moments both now and in the future.

I am an energetic, candid type of photographer. I love capturing all of your special moments and having fun with you as well. Don't be surprised if you catch me on the ground finding those different perspective images. I not only capture the candid moment of guests but also love to help hype the energy up on your special day. Every part of weddings are my absolute favorite being able to see how your ideas became reality for your day. I am here for YOU and whatever YOU need.     We had so much fun during our engagement session with Ris! She has been so easy to work with and takes AMAZING photos!!! I had a vision on how I wanted these photos to look, and Ris exceeded our expectations! She was a great help with what poses look best, and got us laughing through the entire session. You can really tell she cares about her work and the outcome proves she’s great at what she does! We can’t wait for the wedding day in October!

    Ris was amazing!! She was such a trooper on the day we did our engagement photos! (18, windy with light snow!) She captured the REAL us and how our love is. She had amazing idea's and let us throw some of our own in as well. We loved all the candid and funny moments She caught. Can not wait for her to do our wedding in December!!
