    Perfect DJ for multicultural wedding

    We had DJ Kash for our wedding ceremony and reception for 55 people and it was a great experience. Half of the crowd was Albanian and half the crowd was American and he was able to play a great mix of music for both cultures. The energy was great the whole time, he was very professional, and everything went extremely smoothly!

    Amazing wedding sangeet

    We used DJ Kash for our wedding sangeet a few weeks ago. He did an excellent job leading the mobile baraat and the sangeet itself too. Our wedding was Fusion – Indian/American, and Kash did a great job getting everyone out on the dance floor. Kash was professional, communicative, and kind from the day we first reached out, the weeks leading up to the event, the event itself, and even the days following. He executed our detailed timeline very well. We would recommend Kash for future events, especially Indian/American ones.

    An incredible DJ for a memorable Sangeet

    I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. Kashif made the space beautiful with his uplighting, which was a welcome addition to his standard cost, and set up and tore down with no issue in a very busy downtown Raleigh venue. I would 100% use him again if I ever needed to. The music was phenomenal, bangers all night- and the talent was immense and clear. Thank you so much for making my wedding weekend so memorable!

    Unprofessional - Double booked last minute

    DJ Kash was initially easy to work and communicate with and our wedding was mostly a success. However, on the day of our Sangeet he informed our wedding planner that he was double booked and would be sending a replacement DJ, whom we had never met or spoken to. This DJ played well but made a mistake during a performance and overplayed his time without permission and asked for additional compensation. All ensuing communication throughout the weekend was unprofessional and stressful as well as disconcerting. The following day during the reception DJ Kash was friendly but upon meeting the groom immediately spoke of money and finances. He sent text messages to both bride and groom multiple times throughout the wedding day regarding money, including immediately prior to the wedding ceremony, and lengthy messages immediately after the wedding weekend with insulting comments and an unwillingness to compromise. Overall, I would not recommend his team again to avoid the sheer added stress and poor communication on the weekend of the wedding.

    Dear Sanya, Thank you for sharing your feedback. When Zola later enabled vendor replies, I was glad to finally have an opportunity to respond because I do feel there is some important context, while also recognizing that parts of the weekend could have been handled better. Regarding the Sangeet, the change in DJ was something I had already been coordinating with your planner, and the replacement DJ was fully briefed on the timeline, music, and event details. I understand, however, that you and Michael had never personally met or spoken with him beforehand, and I can understand why that added stress during such an important weekend. I would handle that communication more directly today. I also apologize for the confusion surrounding the additional time at the Sangeet. The party continued beyond the scheduled ending because guests were still enjoying themselves, but any overtime should have been clearly approved before continuing. I took responsibility for that situation and addressed it afterward so expectations would be clearer going forward. Regarding payment, my messages were connected to the remaining balance under our agreement and making sure the team working the weekend could also be paid. That said, I completely understand that receiving payment-related messages during the wedding weekend — especially close to the ceremony — could have felt stressful and poorly timed. I could have handled that communication more thoughtfully. I also want to acknowledge that I genuinely put a great deal of effort into your wedding weekend. I created custom music edits and helped facilitate the Baraat at no additional cost despite the weather challenges, coordinated the Sangeet replacement, and personally DJed the reception the following day. I mention those things not to dismiss your concerns, but because I truly did care about making the weekend successful for you and your families. I’m sorry that some of our communication afterward also left you feeling frustrated. Looking back, there are things I would communicate differently today, particularly when it comes to substitute-DJ arrangements, overtime approval, and payment timing during a wedding weekend. I’m glad to hear that your wedding was overall a success and that the replacement DJ performed well. Despite the frustrations you experienced, I sincerely wish you and Michael nothing but happiness in your life together. — DJ Kash

    Great DJ to have!

    DJ Kash did an awesome job of selecting and playing music for my daughter’s wedding that got everyone up on the dance floor. He is very professional and has an amazing flair for talking to the audience and building rapport with them. He was highly recommended by a friend and we are so glad we went with him.
