Couples select one of our distinct photography offerings: the timeless art of tintypes, personalized iris photography, or this summer, the captivating Afghan box photography, and Polaroid 4 shot. Whichever unique experience you choose, Alchemist Studio and Curios offers your guests a tangible memory of your wedding day that they will adore. They are based in New Orleans, but love to travel and will happily come to your venue.

-Tintypes- creating beautiful, silver based photos on metal, using a unique digital-to-analog development process, creating cherished mementos. -Iris photography- artistic, detailed photos of the eye's iris – a unique reminder of your special day and a deeply personal piece of art. -Afghan box photography, a rare process where the camera functions as its own darkroom, creating instant photographs. -Polaroid, a unique Polaroid camera capturing four images on one print. *The only ones who shoot tintypes digitally then develop them in a darkroom. *The only people in the US to offer Afghan box photography and the Polaroid 4 shot.

Alchemist Studio and Curios packages

30 tintypes (4x5) package (local)

Description

This package is perfect for more intimate gatherings, or events in which only a limited number of guests will participate. We will visit the venue beforehand to scout the best setup location and discuss with planners and couples. We setup on the occasion and take several photos of each guest/couple, making sure to seek out all participants. All will get the full digital reel and choose a photo to convert to tintype, which is then mailed to their home. Includes one 8x10 for the bride and groom.
