DJ Fiyo, a self-proclaimed “bar room baby,” is a well-renowned New Orleans native. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of music as a DJ himself, Fiyo has learned to love the diversity of many different combinations of music, all of which became his own therapy as it is his passion

Neil Ponthier was fifteen when he got his start behind the booth in 2009, filling in last minute for a middle school dance when the scheduled DJ couldn't make it. Armed with his dad's speakers and an iPod, he played the set, and never stopped. Raylynn came into the picture too, together since May 2011, married March 2026. She cheered him on at his very first events and has been his biggest supporter since. In 2012, that passion became Music and Lights Entertainment, growing from one guy and a laptop into a full team offering DJ, lighting, and AV services across New Orleans

Big Fun Entertainment & Brass Band was founded as a brass band by Corey and his friends from Southeastern University. Over the years the business has grown to be so much more than a brass band, now offering all things live music related from a 2ndline parades in the streets, to a high energy cover band, small and large jazz ensembles, DJ services and more! Rob Montgomery has over 20 years of experience in the music industry. He studied music and engineering at Ohio State University. After school he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the steel industry for 5 years. Living in New Orleans fueled his passion for music, and in April 2017 he left the steel industry to pursue music full time. His inspiration ranges from jazz, funk, soul, rock, blues, and much more. His diverse experience and fun loving character helps drive the focus of Sunny Side while still allowing time for several other music projects.

Hot 8 Brass Band is a 2022 Grammy-winning New Orleans based brass band, whose sound draws on the traditional jazz heritage of New Orleans, alongside more modern styles including elements of funk, hip hop, rap, and its local variation, “bounce.” Transcending genres and trends, Hot 8 have performed & collaborated with the likes of Jon Batiste, Blind Boys of Alabama, Basement Jaxx, Alice Russell and George Ezra, provided live support for Mos Def, Lauryn Hill & Mary J Blige. Our 2nd album ‘The Life and Times Of...’ was nominated for a Grammy in 2013 and won a Grammy in 2022 for our work on ‘Album of the Year’ winner, Jon Batiste’s ‘WE ARE’.

The NOLA Brass band is a lively second line styled brass band from New Orleans, LA. It began in 2005 originally with humble beginnings only having three members walking around the 7th ward playing out of the love of the music. Over the course of 12 years, the band would flourish to 8 members along with overcoming many obstacles and setting many milestones for such young musicians. We have recorded 3 studio albums, performed in numerous states and festivals including the Jazz and Heritage festival and Honkfest in Texas.
