    Amazing and fun band!

    We booked Velvet City Sound for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the start, their communication was thorough. they answered every question and made sure we felt prepared for the big day. The band's stage presence was incredible, and they kept our guests dancing the entire night. What really stood out was their attention to detail and willingness to let us come up on stage, which made the moment feel personal and fun. They brought so much energy and joy to our celebration. If you're looking for a band, just book them. you won't regret it!

    WOW!! VCS Incredible Band

    Velvet City Sound was incredible. They did an incredible job playing at my daughter’s wedding. The planning process was wonderful. Nick was professional at every level and always available for any questions I had. Nick and his band sounded great! They played 2 genres- jazz Amy cocktail hour and then bluegrass/ country after dinner. They pulled it off wonderfully! Don’t hesitate to hire them. They made our day for our daughter extra magical! Thanks Nick.

    10/10 Would Recommend VCS!

    We booked VCS for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and were so glad we did! We really felt like they had our best interests at heart from the moment we called to get a quote until our sparkler sendoff! Whatever you need musically, VCS takes care of it. We were even able to rent a full dance floor for a reasonable price that they assembled themselves. We were able to focus on being with our friends and family on our wedding day instead of stressing about the little things. Book VCS, and thank me later! ;)

    Fun, Flexible, Professional. 100 Stars!

    Wow. I knew Velvet City Sound was going to be good (referral from a friend), but I didn't expect them to be this good! They kept everyone dancing, showed up on time, and made everything stress free. Nick and the band were super professional and flexible! No! We include every piece of equipment imaginable that we will need! Wireless / lapel microphones, speakers, lights, you name it, it’s all included when you book us!
Short answer: No. Longer answer: Stages elevate (no pun intended) your event even more, so we will never turn down the chance to perform on a stage. ;)
No. Although some of the most popular and most requested songs are on our song list, we can learn new songs upon request!
Yes! After booking us, we will send you a questionnaire where you can customize music selections, genres, and beyond!
Of course! This comes standard when booking us for your reception. In some cases, we’re able to have 2 MCs to make it more fun!
Yes! We will make sure that music is playing at all times with no dead space in-between to keep the party going!
We offer a 3-piece band to start (Guitar/Male Vocal, Bass, and Drums). From there we can add Keys, Female Vocal, Sax, Horns, and even Fiddle!
20% down to book and the final balance would be due 7 days before the event.
Yes! We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, and check-by-mail.
Our prices vary depending on the band size (starting at a 3-Piece Band), the nature of the event, the date, the total coverage time, the travel involved, and any other requests specific to your event. Just reach out for a free quote (we prefer phone calls as we can gather the most accurate information to give you the best quote).
The majority of our events are weddings, corporate events, and private parties, but we’ve also been known to play festivals, fraternity/sorority parties, etc. you name it. We’re open to bringing life to any type of event!
Absolutely! We’d love to share the spotlight with them and have the band back them up!
Our go-to dress code is black-and-white. We are open to requests for the band to wear certain attire, just ask!
We have several optional add-on services that we would be happy to provide for your event! Ask us about our dance floor, uplighting, and Photo Booth options. *Photo Booth coming soon in 2025.*
Depending on your preferences, we would be happy to take requests from guests at your event. If you do not want guests to make requests, we will politely decline on your behalf. :)
Yes! We can provide music for your Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception/Dance Party! We LOVE playing weddings and are familiar with the subtleties that make for a special day!
We do not charge sales tax.
Yes! VCS is based in Atlanta, Georgia, but we are always ready and willing to travel. We've performed at venues across the southeast including Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. We've even gone as far as Kentucky and Texas! We do require a per-member travel fee, which can be discussed during our initial consultation call!
