In college as I was working on my music degree I began to really understand the only way something can be great is if you commit to it. It was then when I first said these words to myself: 'For better or worse, I will make my life about making music.' That decision turned out for the better. Because 7 Sharp 9 is all that I do, I have put all of my focus on the music we play and the clients we entertain. We aim to give our couples more than they expect, and the reviews we have received show that we have done just that, consistently over the last several years.

I approach every wedding as if family members or close friends are getting married. I am extremely aware of the importance of this day in your lives, and my attention to detail ensures the music for your wedding will be the best it can be. We are not an agency or a franchise; we have always been a 'one band' business, and I have personally led every single one of the 250+ weddings we have had the honor to play. I am your direct contact with planning the music throughout the entire process. The experience I have gathered as a band leader/emcee is one of the main reasons we have been so successful in the weddings we have played.

    Fantastic Experience!

    7 Sharp 9 delivers with a bang! Their music will get people out of their chairs and on the dance floor!!! Chris is extremely easy to deal with, and very professional in his handing of events. Chris has been hired several times by clients, and they have always been extremely pleased. The last event they played at, the client extended their play time over two extra hours- and wanted to extend it longer! You can’t go wrong with a music experience with this band of amazing talented musicians!

    Perfection!

    7 Sharp 9 was incredible and made our wedding unforgettable! They are extremely professional, communicative, accommodating, and easy to work with. Chris did an amazing job performing acoustically for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the band rocked our reception. They bring their own style to each song, and were eagerly willing to learn new songs for us. We continue to get compliments on how fun the band was, and we want to have another event just to hire them again! Highly recommend this talented crew!

Yes! We have learned over 230 special requests for our couples; that's over 11.5 hours of music!
Absolutely.
Yes! For your ceremony, I play classical and modern songs instrumentally with a classical guitar while people are being seated, and also during the processional and recessional (I can play recordings as well). I have a lapel microphone for your officiant so everyone can comfortably hear what is being said, as well as extra microphones for readers or other performers. This package can be added for $400.00. Regarding your Cocktail Hour, I play solo acoustic guitar or recorded music, PA provided. This is INCLUDED in your reception package.
I like to arrive at least 3 hours before the beginning of the PRE-ceremony music (usually 30 minutes before the ceremony begins). This gives us time to set up and soundcheck the band and allows me time to set up my ceremony PA system as well. We like to arrive early!
Depending on the location of your wedding in relation to the Atlanta area, there may be additional fees to cover our gas and hotel rooms. I try to keep our travel expenses as low as possible (we're not staying at the Ritz Carlton); we stay at reasonably priced hotels in locations where our gear is safe overnight. I want our clients to get as much bang for their buck as possible!
