    Mrs.

From our first conversation, Disc Jockey Etc. stood out for being organized and truly supportive of our vision for the day. The DJ didn't just play music—he actively helped us plan special moments, like suggesting I dance with my husband and daughter together, which turned out to be one of the most beautiful parts of our reception. He also nailed the song choice for our surprise t-shirt toss, keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout the night. His taste in music was current and fun, and he had everyone dancing from start to finish. We felt like he genuinely cared about making our wedding unforgettable, not just going through the motions. Disc Jockey Etc. is exactly who you want behind the decks on your big day.

    December Wedding

Disc Jockey Etc. was a fantastic choice for our wedding. They were very easy to communicate with and extremely organized throughout the entire planning process. Their team of seasoned professionals brought a high level of expertise to our special day. They were able to seamlessly incorporate our music preferences from the preference sheet we provided, as well as make adjustments on the fly to accommodate our requests during the reception. We were thrilled with the quality of their work and the value they provided. Disc Jockey Etc. truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

    Absolutely amazing!

Absolutely phenomenal DJ!! Made the entire process of picking out music super simple, listened to all our requests, and made sure there were no issues at all with the music at our ceremony and reception. On top of that, he was extremely fun! I’d recommend Aaron to anyone. So glad we used him as the DJ at our wedding. 10/10!

    Wedding Planner

Aaron was such a pleasure to work with at a recent wedding. In the planning stages, he was available to answer any questions and guide the couple when asked. On the day of the wedding, Aaron was very personable and his ability to keep even an intimate group of guests on the dance floor was amazing to see. He knows just when to interact to keep the celebration festive. Aaron is on my list of wedding professionals that I recommend to my clients and look forward to the next opportunity to secure his services.

I'll usually wear a pressed white shirt, black tie, black pants, black shoes, and a small name tag. No music note vests or tacky accessories. I also don't have any face tattoos or weird piercings. I'm clean shaven, too!
Absolutely! I like to gather a few requests from my brides and grooms ahead of time. I'll also happily and politely take requests from guests during the reception. If I feel that a guest request isn't appropriate or doesn't fit with what we're doing (or if I don't think you'll like it either), I'll ask that guest to try another request.
All of the above! I can provide a either a handheld or clip on lapel microphone (both are wireless) for the officiant. Either one can pick up the bride and groom as well. I LOVE playing music for cocktail hour and dinner, too!
I carry a full liability insurance policy (which some venues require).
When you hire me, you hire a HIGHLY engaged, interactive DJ. I love to play with guests, make fun videos (check my profile), and have a great time. I do NOT do "cheese", though. No silly props... no embarrassment of guests... just classy fun!
I like to arrive NO LESS than two hours prior to the start of the event. Do I need those two hours? No. Do I WANT those two hours? Absolutely.
I have no extra fees beyond what I quote you in my initial correspondence. Time, travel, set up, break down, any music I download, online planning, dance floor lighting, ceremony support... it's ALL included... and everyone who hires me gets the same services (if needed) and high level of personalized service.
Not only do I offer discounts for active or retired military members, I also offer discounts for first responders. These people protect our communities and our country... the least I can do is give them a little break!
No. I believe it's not very nice (and bordering on tacky and rude) for a DJ to invite strangers to someone else's wedding. In fact, if another DJ offers that, I'd run away. FAST. If you have questions about how a DJ performs, just ask! You can also read our reviews or ask for independent testimonials.
Many DJ's will bring an assistant of some sort. As for me, I work alone. Always have, and likely always will. Only on VERY rare occasions have I brought another pair of hands to assist me, and that's only when it's a tricky load in or setup scenario. Again, this is extremely rare... and if I need to bring someone, I'll always get your approval first.
Absolutely not! In fact, if you were to give me a small handful of requests, I'll take it from there! Some of my clients don't give me anything... and that's fine, too. My job is to read your crowd and see what they're responding to (and what they're NOT responding to) and build on that throughout the night.
I usually recommend no more than 3 people. I'll provide a microphone for them (along with a quick lesson on how to use it)... but what you DON'T want is 45 minutes of rambling speeches. We've got dancing to do!
I DJ'd my first wedding in 2005... and I made a promise to myself on that day... when I stop loving it, I'll stop doing it. So far, there's no end to that love in sight!
%100 YES! When my wife and I were planning our wedding (before I became a DJ), our DJ took the time to get to know us (and we got to know him)... and it was because of that meeting. When I started my business in 2005, I decided to do it just like that... and it's a method that hasn't failed me yet!
ABSOLUTELY NOT. One event per day. Period.
I don't save any playlists for two reasons: 1) I don't have set playlists for ANY wedding. I'm only ever thinking one or two songs ahead... and 2) because most weddings have different music. The music I played for Josh & Megan's wedding last weekend was different than what I played at Jordan & Autumn's wedding the week before that... and so on.
