I’d like to clarify a few important points regarding the events of the evening: The 360 Photo Booth: The booth was on-site with me. However, the venue’s uneven ground in the reception area—combined with the weather conditions—made setting it up an unsafe option. This was discussed with your day-of coordinator on-site. Timeline & Communication: My text to your coordinator was simply confirming the scheduled midnight end time so I could pace the evening correctly, not an attempt to leave early. Furthermore, my announcements were based on the written timeline provided to me. I adjusted immediately whenever you asked to shift the order of events. Music & Requests: Playing for a wide generational gap is always a balance. Throughout the 4.5-hour dance floor, I accommodated numerous live requests from your guests while attempting to balance the overall vibe of the room. Pronunciation & Speeches: I apologize for the mispronunciation during entrances and for the misunderstanding regarding the speeches. I work off the information given to me prior to the event, but I deeply regret any pain that specific mistake caused. Providing top-notch DJ services is always my primary goal, and I'm glad I succeeded there. I do want to sincerely apologize for your disappointment regarding the 360 photo booth and the microphones, and I'd like to provide some context on how the logistics unfolded on my end. I always arrive 2.5 hours early to ensure ample time to set up all equipment. Unfortunately, upon arriving at your venue, I encountered heavy cellular dead zones and struggled to get building access. I ended up spending my first 30 minutes on-site knocking on doors in the reception area just trying to find someone to let me in to unload. Additionally, I was not made aware prior to arrival that the ceremony and reception spaces were a half-mile apart. Safely transporting my audio gear across that distance unexpectedly consumed the remaining setup time I had specifically designated for the photo booth. I completely understand your frustration regarding the booth, especially since you set up props for it. However, I do want to gently clarify that the 360 photo booth is a completely free, promotional amenity that I include as a bonus; it is never charged for, nor is it a package upgrade that can be purchased. The $100 refund I offered was solely a courtesy gesture to acknowledge your disappointment, rather than a refund for a paid service. Regarding the clip-on microphones, I actually had the lapel mics ready in my pocket. However, because I hadn't yet been introduced to the officiant by the time everyone transitioned to the ceremony space, I proactively placed a handheld microphone at the gazebo as a reliable backup to ensure your ceremony audio was still covered. I appreciate your note about confirming logistical details. It is a great reminder of how crucial venue layouts and timelines are to ensuring all bonus amenities can be executed perfectly.
