I've been handling wedding ceremonies since 2011. And yes, a wedding is serious, but it is also one of the most exciting and joyous beginnings of a couple's journey through life. I feel fortunate to be the "conductor" on the beginning of this journey. I was previously serving as Children's Music Pastor for Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta. I moved back to my hometown of Williamston back in 2006 after being in Atlanta for over 30 years. Travel is not an issue.

Each wedding couple has their own story and I feel that it is important that this story is part of their wedding service. A "stock" or "canned" ceremony is never used. Marriage is an important step and we take it very seriously and always feel grateful to be a part of the couple's special day.

    Weddings at Big Mill Bed and Breakfast

    My name is Chloe Tuttle, and I have been the owner and operator of Big Mill Bed & Breakfast and Extended Stay for 26 years. Over those years, we welcomed countless guests and hosted many weddings and special events here on the farm. Although we no longer host weddings, during the years we did, we were fortunate to work with a seasoned and reliable team. One of the most memorable members of that team was our wedding officiant, Barney Conway. Barney brought a calming, reassuring presence to every ceremony. His demeanor was so steady and comforting that no one - bride, groom, or staff - ever felt nervous. He guided each couple through their vows with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. We hosted over 19 weddings with Barney as the officiant, and he delivered a flawless experience every single time. Our team consistently gave him a 5 star rating, and our brides and grooms adored him. We've been actively engaged in wedding since 2011.
Absolutely! None of our wedding are based on some stock form verbiage. Each service is unique to the couple being joined together. We like to help tell their story, how they met and what brought them to this decision. Every story is different.
We do rehearsals when requested. As far as the cost, that depends if we are a considerable distance from our home base of Williamston, NC. (If we have to stay overnight). If the rehearsals are on the same day as the wedding and within a couple of hours of the wedding, there is no additional fee. Otherwise, it would be an additional fee of $50.
That will be your choice... if you prefer casual, business casual, suit, sport coat & khakis, it's your choice.

Yes, we have an agreement with a small church outside of Williamston, NC which welcomes our marriage ceremonies. It is equipped with an area for the bride to change, a caterers' kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Seating capacity up to 100. (No alcohol allowed for a reception.) The facility is equipped with a P.A. system and a grand piano.
