    The Smoothest Wedding Day!

    Working with Covenant Co was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding planning. Jasmine and her team got back to us quickly, answered every question thoroughly, and kept everything organized from start to finish. On the day of our wedding, they coordinated with our venue, our bridal party, family, and guests so smoothly that we never felt stressed or worried for a second. We knew we were in good hands and all we had to do was show up and enjoy the celebration. Their knowledge and attention to detail made our day feel effortless, and we felt taken care of the entire time. We can't recommend Covenant Co enough to couples looking for a planner who truly cares about making their wedding special.

    Not What We Expected

    Covenant Co. markets itself as “the calm in the chaos” during one of the most important days of your life. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. As the bride and groom, we hired Covenant Co. for a multi-day wedding with Thai and Lao cultural customs and American customs. With all of the time and labor that went into it, not only from us but also from many of our loved ones, it was very disheartening to hear about how messy it got under this team's supervision. When members of the family members and wedding party had questions, they were not addressed, leading to confusion and frustration. The communication issues were especially problematic when it came to many of the vendors, who notified us that they did not receive all of the information they were promised and also told us that their interactions with the coordination team were, in several instances, unprofessional. Other promises that were made fell by the wayside, including many related to setup and breakdown labor, which unfortunately ended up being accommodated by the groomsmen and even the groom himself, who was working to set up his own wedding ceremony and reception areas up until the very moment he had to get ready. We do not get any satisfaction from writing this review and gave Covenant Co. the opportunity to address and reflect on the issues privately. However, the only accountability displayed came in the form of an apology for a very inappropriate comment that was made to the BRIDE about her culture by the coordinator herself between the ceremony and reception. She disputed nearly all of our other concerns. We understand that she remembers our wedding weekend differently than we do, but her disagreement does not change our experience or the consistent experiences shared with us by our family, wedding party, and vendors. We left that exchange feeling unheard. Planning a wedding for yourself is hard because, in most cases, you've never done it before. As a couple on the other side of the process, we urge you to be very careful when considering who you are going to hire as a day-of coordinator. If something goes wrong, ask yourself whether this is the vendor you trust to respond with empathy and accountability afterward. We learned this lesson the hard way, and the worst part about that is the fact that so many people who are very dear to us were negatively impacted by our decision to hire Covenant Co. They did not get to experience and enjoy the weekend the way they wanted because they were busy trying to put out the fires that could have been avoided with competent leadership and better communication. We can't change what happened to us, but maybe we can help someone else avoid the same heartbreak.

Yes, we plan other events, like showers and rehearsal dinners.
Depending on the service you book, majority of conversations will be held via email or phone, we also do in-person meet ups. On average 5hrs/week again depending on service and complexity of the event.
You will be working directly with the Owner Jasmine. For complex weddings we will have 1-2 assistants if needed with the option to add 2 more.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and large-scale events. For day-of coordination, 3–6 months in advance is ideal. For full planning, 6–12 months is best.
