I have been planning weddings and events for 17 years. After college, I worked as a meeting planner for several years, while also earning my International Wedding Planning Professional certification (IWPP). My love of special events is what convinced me to start my own business. I love working with clients to create their perfect vision. My goal is to take away the stress of the day so that my clients are able to enjoy themselves. I am able to help by suggesting venues and vendors, site visits and contracting, communicating and working with vendors, on-site coordination, setup, and post-event cleanup and follow-up.

I believe that the success of an event lies in the preparation and details. The thought that goes into those little touches will make your event memorable. I specialize in helping clients plan within a budget, often assisting with DIY projects to create beautiful décor elements. I also have a large collection of event supplies and décor that I make available to my clients to help alleviate costs. I am well-trained in negotiating contracts, and I love helping clients decide on an overall look and design for their event. I always remain calm, and am a great problem-solver, so my clients don't have to worry about anything on their special day.

    She Truly Brought My Vision to Life!

    Diane was absolutely amazing to work with, and I cannot recommend her enough! From the very beginning, she took the time to understand my very specific vision for a neutral baby sprinkle and helped turn all of the ideas in my head into something beautiful and cohesive. Diane was incredibly patient and kept searching until she found something that truly felt like me. She helped select the best décor pieces on Amazon and organized them into a wish list, made thoughtful recommendations down to the smallest details like hand sanitizers, and made sure everything worked together beautifully rather than simply filling the space with decorations. One of the things that impressed me most was what she was able to do with our home. We hosted the sprinkle in our relatively small house, and Diane completely transformed the space. It felt warm, elegant, intentional, and beautifully decorated without being overwhelming. When I finally saw everything together — the theme, décor, setup, and all of the little details — I could see just how much thought and work she had put into making my vision a reality. Throughout the entire planning process, Diane listened, adjusted, recommended, problem-solved, and remained patient through all of my ideas and all of my “no’s.” On the day of the event, I was able to look around, enjoy the celebration, and truly take in the moment because so much had already been thoughtfully handled. Diane’s creativity, patience, attention to detail, and ability to bring a very specific vision to life made our baby sprinkle incredibly special. She helped create a beautiful memory for our family as we celebrated our baby, and I’m so grateful for everything she poured into it. 5 stars without hesitation!

    The Best Wedding Planner

    I truly could not have asked for a better wedding planner than Diane. From the very beginning, she was an absolute rock throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly organized, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. Her attention to detail was beyond impressive, and she thought of things I never would have considered! Planning a wedding was overwhelming, but Diane made the entire experience feel manageable and gave me so much peace of mind. She was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and make sure every detail came together perfectly. On our wedding day, we were hit with a storm during our backyard wedding, and despite the weather, everything turned out more beautifully than I could have imagined. I truly believe our day was as amazing as it was because of Diane. She handled everything calmly and professionally, allowing my husband and I to simply enjoy our wedding without worrying. Hiring Diane was one of the best decisions we made. Her services were worth every single penny, and honestly, I feel like we got far more value than what we paid for. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone planning a wedding or any event, for that matter. She is exceptional at what she does, and I will always be grateful for everything she did to make our day so incredibly special.

    Diane is AMAZING!!

    Diane is INCREDIBLE! We recently hired Divine Event Design to do coordination for our wedding and we truly could not have done it without Diane! She was so helpful starting months in advance of our wedding day, sending detailed checklists, timelines, and other things to consider while planning. When we had our planning meetings, Diane was so thorough and walked through every step of the day with me. After a few of these meetings, she created a detailed timeline down to the minute, which she shared with the entire wedding party and vendors so everyone knew what the plan for the day was. This relieved so much of my stress around wedding planning and I was able to be totally in the moment on the wedding day! Diane was there every step of the way before the wedding and during and made sure everything ran perfectly! I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator! Thank you Diane!!

    The wedding planner that you need!

    Diane Ricker of Devine Event Design is a true professional. Diane was the day-of planner for my daughters wedding. She went above and beyond to ensure that the wedding was perfect. Her services include pre-planning, planning meetings, rehearsals, wedding day set-up, handling vendors, ensuring that everything was perfect and that the wedding went of without a single problem. She orchestrated the entire day. We would not have been able to pull off this perfect day without Diane. After the wedding, she stayed and packed up everything that we used for the wedding so that they pick up the next day was tremendously easy. Diane is top notch start to finish. I highly recommend hiring Diane - you will be amazed at how well she plans and handles the entire process. In addition, she is nicest person and fun to work with! I will be sharing our experience with anyone needing a wedding planner !

    AMAZING

    Diane was absolutely incredible as our wedding coordinator. Our wedding day was perfect for us and it would not have been possible without Diane's monumental efforts throughout our wedding weekend. Her work is precise, passionate, and detail-oriented. She worked so well with our bridal party and our family members that were helping support our wedding day and it turned out exactly as we had imagined! She was very professional and timely throughout the coordinating process and offered so many tips and ideas that were the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony and reception.
