Truly five stars – best decision we made
Nowadays people slap five stars on a lot of things by default so let us start by saying this is a TRULY five star review for a service and professional of the highest caliber. If you are considering hiring Busola, go for it without hesitation, and you will not regret it! (Happy to serve as a reference!) She was the unsung hero of our wedding day and truly allowed us to enjoy the day. We were unsure if we needed a coordinator—we are a pretty organized couple, didn’t have a particularly big wedding, and had planned a lot of pieces of our wedding already and had lots of friends and family willing to help. If you’re like us – trust us when we say you will be so glad you hired Busola! (And even more so if you have a complex event or could use organizing support) From day one, her organization and background in enterprise risk management shone through with a variety of organizational tools and planning expertise. She helped us develop a detailed event timeline that became the guiding document for us and our family and friends. She really helped us think through the flow of the day, providing helpful feedback based on her extensive experience managing events. In the month leading up to the wedding, she worked out a myriad of issues with our vendors, allowing us to focus on other pieces. She helped us find last-minute printing services when we couldn’t get a quote anywhere, found a videographer two days before the wedding when ours dropped out, helped us identify that moving the ceremony a bit would be helpful for time of day and lighting issues, and worked with every vendor to move our ceremony back a half hour at our request (as well as managing all sorts of small issues directly with vendors that we didn’t have to deal with). At our last venue walk-through, she thought of things we would not have noticed, helped assuage our parents’ concerns, and worked with vendors to address all manner small but important details. The day of, she immediately proved her value when a vendor called me on my wedding morning to ask about where they could unload. It was such a relief to be able to hand them off to Busola and not think about it again! She and her helper (her lovely husband) were such a warm and pleasant presence that we were thrilled to have them be an important part of our day. They embraced our aviation theme and took on all sorts of tasks like guiding our guests with light up wands, moving around florals from the church space to the reception space, and cuing all sorts of aspects of the timeline to keep the event on track. She also had the perfect light touch with the groom, gently making him stop fussing with his computer and get ready for the ceremony! Her gentle but guiding manner is important especially for those wrangling large wedding parties and families. All of our family mentioned afterwards how fantastic and helpful she was. Her support did not end on the wedding day, she helped us hunt down a refund from the vendor who dropped out and facilitated a charitable donation we wanted to make in honor of our wedding. She did all of this with a smile and no indication of the pressure. The value provided was exceptional and we are so grateful.

Working with Busola and her team at Leave it to Busola was an absolute pleasure. From our very first call, I was impressed by her professional, efficient, yet accessible communication style. Busola proved to be an invaluable resource, providing top-tier service that was thorough and detailed throughout the entire wedding planning process. As a more anxious bride, Busola's patience and constant communication were a blessing - she didn't shy away from the difficult conversations, and she made sure our needs were well-communicated to all our vendors. On the day of the wedding, Busola's team was professional, friendly, and made sure our entire wedding party felt prioritized and well taken care of. I truly don't know how I would have managed the stress of wedding planning without Busola's expertise and support. I cannot recommend Leave it to Busola highly enough!

Busola was absolutely amazing! She made our wedding day stress-free and seamless. The vendors were perfectly coordinated, and our vision came to life better than we imagined. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator. Highly recommend!
A NO-BRAINER
Where do I even begin? Busola was a godsend for my husband and I. She was so professional, so experienced, and overall joy to us, our parents, and our bridal party. She developed timelines seamlessly, excited our vision to perfection, and kept us calm on our wedding day. She and her team coordinated our 320 guest wedding with ease. She is truly a master of her craft with a wealth of knowledge. She knew when I was going crazy without me showing it and she kept me in line. She is the absolute best at planning/coordinating your big day. Do not hesitate to book her!
