About this venue
Before it became our beloved event venue, the historic Crystal Plaza was originally a residential mansion. The initial Livingston, New Jersey-based residence was built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who was responsible for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden complex among other landmark structures. While the restored building has since been reincarnated as one of the leading wedding and event spaces in the tri-state area, it still maintains the feeling of its 19th century grandeur. Our impeccable, white-glove service begins the moment you arrive. Crystal Plaza hosts only one event at a time, ensuring that our dedicated team focuses singularly on you and your every need. From the elegant Grand Ballroom boasting numerous chandeliers (how the Crystal Plaza name came to be) to the lush gardens that change beautifully with the seasons, there are myriad backdrops to complement your wedding, social affair or corporate event.

The magnificence of the Crystal Plaza and all its splendor may be best captured by the centerpiece of the venue: the Grand Ballroom.
Glittering crystal chandeliers adorn the ceilings and walls of this stunning, 5,000-square-foot space with a capacity for up to 350 guests for dinner and dancing. The glamorous, open room showcasing a gold-detailed ceiling, ornate columns along the walls, a large and round wooden dance floor and curtain-dressed glass windows overlooking the garden can hold its own without any additional décor, yet looks fabulous with custom florals for your occasion. A Juliet balcony overlooks the scene.

The Atrium
Indoor Space with the Outdoor Feel
Upstairs at the Crystal Plaza is The Atrium, our multi-purpose and contemporary event space. Here you’ll find white and silver Italian hardwood flooring, an unobstructed fifty foot skylight, and stunning crystal chandeliers. It’s perfect for ceremonies, corporate events, cocktail hours, after-parties, and more.

Crystal Plaza’s well-manicured, 5-acre property is maintained throughout the entire year.
The gazebo serves as a focal point or ceremony space as well as iron street lamps imported from Italy. In the spring, romance often blossoms here along with its fragrant flowers; in the summer, late sunsets make a gorgeous background for evening events; in autumn, the brilliant, jewel-toned colors of fall foliage become a vibrant setting for great photo opportunities; and in winter, the gardens turn into a winter wonderland with glistening icicles that mimic the crystal chandeliers inside.

The Penthouse is a 3,000 sq. ft. private suite dream. It offers everything you need to get ready for your big day, including a salon area stocked with manicure stations and makeup chairs to a lounge area with a full bar and wardrobes. The Vault is the ideal space for pre-event activities. Here you’ll receive the VIP treatment and have access to amenities like a golf simulator, barbershop, punching bag, pool table, wine cellar, ventilation for cigars, TVs, restrooms, and so much more.

This stately cocktail area accommodates up to 350 guests and features dark hardwood floors, a large wooden bar, various cocktail tables and a fireplace at its center. It also encompasses an adjoining covered indoor-outdoor patio space separated by sliding glass doors. For everything from a wedding cocktail reception and corporate holiday party to a seated-dinner affair or an anniversary soiree, The Living Room embraces guests with comfort and ease.

We had our wedding at Crystal Plaza and it was a great experience. The team was responsive when we reached out, whether through their online portal or over the phone. The building and grounds are stunning, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the space was. The staff was attentive throughout our day and made sure everything ran smoothly. One thing I would recommend is a wedding coordinator outside of the venue. Max said we didn’t need one, as they take care of that, but the schedule would’ve been much smoother with someone to schedule in all the little details we needed. The food is something to rave about. We used their catering - Alpine Kosher catering which is glatt kosher ( includes pas Yisrael for an add on price) and it was amazing. We'd recommend them as it is a gorgeous venue.

Absolutely unforgettable!!
I cannot express how grateful I am for the experience my husband and I had planning and celebrating our wedding at Crystal Plaza. Every detail was handled so seamlessly that we never had to worry about a thing, and any behind-the-scenes issues were managed with total professionalism and care. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, the beautiful space, and how much fun they had, especially with the added shot cart, which was a huge hit and really energized the party! Ryan and the entire team were organized, responsive, and made the process feel easy from start to finish. Ryan was especially patient and helpful when answering every little question we had! Mikheil kept everything running smoothly and even helped with last-minute details, while the bridal and groom attendants were attentive and supportive all day. The thoughtful coordination and genuine care the team showed throughout the entire planning process and the day of the wedding made all the difference!

I originally envisioned a sleek, modern venue, but Crystal Plaza completely changed my mind from the moment we walked in. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were immediately apparent. We had heard amazing things from friends, and after experiencing it ourselves, it was an easy yes. The entire team was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process and on the day of. Iris was with us from our first tour through the wedding day — always available, supportive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The food was unforgettable (our guests are still texting us about it!), and our maitre’d, Mikhail, along with our bridal and groom attendants, G and Liza, were so thoughtful and on top of every detail. Truly can’t recommend Crystal Plaza enough.

Amazing staff who make an amazing day!
Crystal Plaza was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From our very first meeting with the staff, we were impressed by their clear, direct, and helpful communication style. Mikheil and Ryan were particularly amazing - they were accommodating to all of our special requests and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful, with fresh, modern decor and lots of flexible spaces to customize for our event. The value was incredible given the high-quality service and stunning backdrop for our wedding day. We are so grateful to the Crystal Plaza team for making our celebration everything we dreamed of and more.

Beautiful Wedding at the Crystal Plaza!
We had an amazing wedding at the Crystal Plaza! They did absolutely everything to make sure the day went smoothly. They were professional, organized, and very accommodating to every request. We had the ceremony set up outside, and when it started to rain they quickly started to set up inside. Then when the rain passed, they reset up everything outside! The venue was beautiful, the gardens were lovely, and the rooms to get ready in very pretty and spacious. All of the attendants were very friendly and helpful, constantly checking in with us to make sure we were all set. Special shout out the Mikheil for coordinating everything!
